EXP & EXP per playlist

Simple

You gain and lose experience points according to a simple scheme:

Win a match: +1 EXP

Lose a match: 0 EXP

Quit a match: -1 EXP

Ok so off the bat you can see that this will discourage peopel from quiting a game as they will not gain any XP and also loss 1 XP

This believe it or not did help with the DNF’S.

In HALO REACH you dont gain or loss Xp you ONLY GAIN Cr for each game and how well you do but you loss nothing if you quit so
this does not stop people from quitting.

Dont get me wrong Peopel will always quit but THE HALO 3 style XP helped control it a bit better then in Reach.

Also peopel would go for there GENERAL in certain playlist and this showed how much they LIKED/PLAYED this playlist

Also Double Xp weekends were epic
I called in Sick to work for the DAY just to play RANKED living dead
peopel loved these kinds of thing’s Bring them back

■Living Dead - (Social and Ranked)

■Legendary Brawl - (Ranked)

■Mythic Brawl - (Ranked)

■Rocket Race - (Social)

■Team Flag - (Social)

■Valentine’s Day Massacre (Valentine’s Day) (Ranked)

■Turkey Day (Thanksgiving) - This playlist featured 9 players FFA. (social)

■Ranked Big Team Battle - (Ranked)

And at the End of the DAY
we have very little info about HALO 4 - MAYBE it does have EXP or MAYBE it doesn’t

Im just posing that i think people loved the EXP and EXP per playlist + it cut down on the DNF’S and AFKERS.

so far from what we know is that you get:
1000 exp for completing the match but you lost

and

6000 exp for completing and winning the match

I think for ranked, how ever it’s calculated, this is a good idea to loose what goes toward that rank for quiting and not gaining anything if you lose.
But for the progression system it should value winning but still give players something just for playing. After all it’s a progression system not ranks.

So you pretty much want it like Halo 3.

No and yes

people losing xp for quiting will help and may make less people quit
And having XP or Rank per playlist is a great way to keep people coming back day ina and day out

reach had way to many AFKers and DNF’S because of the NONE xp system and adding the CR system

going back to xp would help with this

Also with the addition of drop in drop out matchmaking I really doubt this system was ever even considered. I also like the idea of having tons of points, cR or xp. Example I’d rather get 1,000 xp for a win 0 xp for a loss and -1000 xp for a quit. I know that it’s the same thing I just like to see a bunch of numbers. It makes me feel video game rich. Kinda like when CoD4 for offered 10 points a kill and then MW2 offered like 100 points a kill. Felt more rewarding even though it was the same thing.

The join in progress addition is To help the quitting problem NOT MAKE IT WORSE AND TAKING SOMETHING AWAY From PEOPLE that quit is the only way to help – otherwise its only going to get worse and people will just quit every time they start to lose a game

Regardless of the intent JIP causes more people to quit the game. People are constantly joining and leaving games in CoD because with join in progress it’s so easy to get out and get into another game.

I just hope 343i found a way to make the quitting less and the JIP work with out a ton of black screens and switching HOST every other min.

I just hope that changes and the losing team gets nothing or very very very little
