Exp cap & Reset time

Just after the actual exp cap (i have seen several topics some saying 75k, some saying 150k) Would love if 343 just clarified which one it was

And also just what time & time zone it resets. :]

Also, for the sake of not creating a new thread, once I have hit cap, will my double exp matches continue to be used if I keep playing matches?

I think they used to, but they don’t anymore.

i actually just got off the cap. and then played one spartan ops match. the next one i played i never got XP after it. or the bunch of matches after that. seriously… what the hell? ><

I hit the xp cap 5 times in the last week. :stuck_out_tongue:

Honestly, I think the XP cap is a way of saying you’re playing too much. I’ve played for up to six hours before, and I have never hit the XP cap once. If you’re getting XP capped, you either have a lot of Double XP or way too much time on your hands.

The XP cap is 150k.

Halo 4 has a daily XP limit of 150,000 XP. After this amount of XP has been earned in a single day, no more XP can be earned from matches, Challenges, or Commendations. The daily limit resets at around 2:00AM PST (5:00AM EST) along with the daily challenges.

Where did you find this & is it from 343 or something in the company etc :P?

Dunno :p. Obvious, the Xp cap is above 100k and p´robably resets around 00:00 PST.

If someone wants to put in the hours they should let them. What does this “cap” actually accomplish? The ones who bring in the big points are being, "given the shaft "so the masses dont get left behind.
