So I didn’t have a huge problem with the (horribly low) exp cap until I found out that an commendations received after the cap was reached basically just wasted the exp you could be earning if you just stopped playing.
Also another big thing, playing matches after you hit the cap still uses your double exp tokens up. Had 30 last night before cap, kept playing all night with my friends and in the morning when the cap was raised I had 0 remaining when they were actually useful.
Yeah it’s really lame and I am in the same situation as you. I hope they address it today 
I don’t think they really thought out that whole double XP, daily cap business. A lot of folks are upset about the double XP being wasted if they hit the cap… and they should be. we paid money for the double XP tokens

Ive noticed the cap gets lifted a little bit every hour.
Ive lost double xp games because of this.

They need to completely re-think the threshold so that boosters cannot go crazy with it but genuine players can still rank up through normal play
An EXP cap doesn’t just penalise boosters, it penalises everyone.
This annoys more people then what the boosters would do.
I never had a problem with boosters, I do have a problem with a cap. If I have to think about not playing so that I don’t waste EXP ruins the entire experience of the game and makes me think “Why did I even bother?”
I may as well have just got Black Ops 2 with no cap, and no worries, and constant play without thinking “Should I stop?”

I agree 100%. I went out of my way to buy Mt. Dew when I would drink a soda, and its not even my favorite (Dr. Pepper for life). I had 124 games and wasted about 20 of them before I realized that I wasn’t getting XP anymore. That’s about 7 bottles of Mt. Dew that I paid for, and this XP cap stole them from me.
The fact that 343 would promote Double XP so vigorously, getting people like me to spend their hard earned money on products to show our loyalty as fans, and then turn around and render the “bonus” completely useless is appalling. If 343 is so hell-bent on preventing people from leveling up so quickly, why give players a chance to do so with 2XP?
If 343 insist on enforcing this cap, hey theres nothing much we can do about it, but when 85% of people who take the time to answer a survey about it say it should go it may be a good business decision to look into it and make some changes.
I would be satisfied if they turned the cap off while the 2XP campaign is active (Until1/31/2013) and then turned it back on after. Chances are the majority of payers would not even come close to hitting the cap daily (took me 40 matches to reach Cap with 2XP). But as long as 343 doubles our XP, they should not put a limit on how much we can get.
Just finished the 2 career weekly commendations (which were hard to do) to only find out that I will be receiving zero xp for completing them because of the xp cap…thanks 343i
