First off, for those who don’t know we will be getting the codes to level up past 70 between today and the 30th.
I’m curious about whether or not our exp will build up and when we get the codes, will we get all of the accumulated exp. I’m only asking this because when I finish a game, it still brings me to the exp screen, and I can hear the exp going into it just like it does when you actually can level up. No one may know this, but I’m just being hopeful, and hopeful that someone can possibly confirm this. They also did this in halo reach when you hit the rank cap, so it’s a strong possibility.
Well considered the cap doesn’t cover everyone I highly highly doubt it. Most people already have surpassed that. Plus you haven’t really chosen a new Specialization to build up exp for right?
No I have not chosen a specialization, it just makes me wonder since my xp screens still seem to add it, so maybe when they do release them to me, it’ll just boost me up a couple levels. It’s just a possibility and halo has done it in the past, even though that wasn’t 343.
Chances are it doesn’t build up - if it did 343 would have said to keep playing just to calm everyone down :(.

If I can remember correctly, bungie said nothing about it building up in reach. Maybe it’ll just be a nice surprise for those like me who continue to play?
I was just hoping this could maybe be confirmed, if someone kept playing when they hit an earlier specialization cap, but didn’t move on just yet.
Seriously this is horse sht. I busted my -Yoink- ranking up and putting in my time to do so. Now I watch everybody else surpass all of the work I put into this game. I can’t even play the game now. Thanks 343 and Microsoft for being greedy bass turds with this game. I used to be happy playing it and now it just ticks me off every time I think about this. If there was a POINT to doing this I could understand, but there is NONE, except to force people to purchase the higher priced games for profit. Even then, I am quite okay with that. However, capping players at 70 is for what reason? It makes zero sense. None. I paid my money now let me play my fcking game!
