So I guess leveling is capped at 70… i just hit it and finished operator. Does any exp i gain from here on out accumulate and apply when cap is lifted like it was in Halo:Reach, or when level cap is lifted, THEN exp starts regaining?
If i’m not mistaken, You will only just start gaining xp again once you get your other specializations. Any xp you’ve been getting at cap wont be added on later.

HUH? Why the FUNK is there a cap. I came here specifically to find out why I cannot choose a new specialization after reaching SR70 and this is what I find out. That there is a cap implemented…? F me.
No exp accumulates. I guess an administrator adressed it on twitter… Wish they would use the official forums more, or at least as equally as twitter.

It is beyond my comprehension why a company would limit a players desire to play a game.

You may already know, but everyone who has played should get an email by friday to unlock other specializations. I’m at 70 too.
I just don’t understand why there would be some cap.
They say it is to keep the community balanced, but i dont believe that because those who paid more already have it unlocked, which does the opposite of keeping it balanced.

My point exactly. No offense and more power to you for getting limited. But the community will be more so out of balance with only limited owners ranking up making their reason invalid.
But reeeaally higher rank give little advantage anyway so it does not make a difference.
In all honesty i think the perks are not very good and really not worth the effort, i just use fast track for faster leveling, everything else is just… meh.
Why do they give a flying -Yoink- if the community is balance?! Their freakin game is unbalanced… But they are to blind to see or dgaf. Ugh. Who limits players from playing a game? Being a level 100 and someone else is a 100 doesn’t mean we’re balanced or the same in any way in terms of skill for that matter. Man I just don’t get 343 at all guys. Is it that difficult to send a -Yoinking!- mass email? Which is stupid and beyond me in itself. I certainly hope they get their crap straight. Theyre losing lots of fans and they have all the power to change it. Not to compare cod in any way but they’ve already had 2 patch updates and the game came out a week after halo.

This level cap and email thing is the worst thing that could of happened to halo besides the little fixes

Same here: Stuck at level 70 and I don’t want to play because I would lose like 20k worth of exp from the commendations… I feel like I bought a Freaking BETA-version of the game. Besides, we’re not getting any legit information about the “Email-code” either which is getting extremely annoying.
Yup this is definitely a mark in the negative column in 343’s grade-book.
