I wish we could choose which side of the Ghost or Mongoose to exit from. Currently, it seems like you always exit to the left unless there is a wall in the way. However, Halo doesn’t take cliffs into account and youll exit to the left off a cliff.
Suggestion: You should exit whichever way the movement stick is pointing when the “exit vehicle” button.

Its very possible too. Playing games with horse riding, Assassins Creed Odyssey had it when you just nudge the stick the direction you wish the exit.
Okay, so I jumped into Custom Games and did some quick testing…
Using your left stick won’t work, you have to use your right stick that controls your reticle. Even using your right stick would be tricky though, especially if you’re in the heat of battle.
As you press your Exit Vehicle button, quickly aim your reticle in the direction you want to exit the vehicle(this doesn’t work for Wasps, Banshees, or 4-door vehicles like Warthogs or the Warthog Turrets because you always exit from the one side).
All 343 needs to do is switch it from the Right Stick to the Left Stick that controls which direction we exit.
Holding eject + jump should allow you to get out at yeet speed with a jump. Holding flag as passenger should have flag weight and reduced distance/jump.
AHHHH, yes. I’ve confirmed the same thing.
The player always exists left unless the right thumbstick is held to the right when pushing the exit button. This is near impossible to do seamlessly. This should definitely be changed to the left thumbstick.

Still annoyed by this. It should behave like the thruster.
