Now, first off I will say that I love halo 4, it is a great game. The multi player is great, and I’m loving it. There is one thing that is not great, and that is the gauss warthog on Exile.
Not sure if anyone has come across this in big team infinity slayer. The vehicle spawns are asymmetrical, the blue team has a gauss warthog right outside there base. Whereas the red team must run a considerable way to get to the scorpion tank. I think exile is a great map, but they need to make it symmetrical vehicle spawns, otherwise we will have running riots from gauss users every time that map comes up. haha
Anyway hope we can get this problem fixed and let 343 know that it is quite difficult for red team to win. Well I’m going to play halo 4, hope I spawn blue team !
yea something needs to be tweaked…i think the best thing would be to just remove the scorpion and have both teams start with gauss hogs…i find it annoying to be on red team have to always go to the tank to make sure we get it because blue team can kill you pretty quick and steal it or destroy it with ease

Noobs complaining about the least important aspects of Halo 4 (i’m not talking about spawn symmetry, but you -Yoinking!- about warthogs). Casuals will never understand the fundamentals of gaming and what makes them tick well.
News Flash: In stead of complaining about Gauss warthogs being too OP the moment you get raped, why don’t you try SPAWNING with a plasma pistol and demobilize the thing in a single shot? God, this game is such a wreck it hurts
> If you / your team can’t take down a stupid warthog in BTB then you have bigger problems than spawn symmetry.
That is like saying “If you/your team can’t take down a guy with an infinite railgun, you have bigger problems than one team having access to an infinite railgun”
I don’t have a problem with it being on the map, but I think it should be a situation where the warthog spawn on blue base alternates between Gauss and normal, with Gauss being the first spawn as a Scorpion/Banshee counter for the beginning of the match.

Try telling that to a bunch of people with no mics that are terrible at this game if you go in by yourself. Then, if the other team is decent it’s pretty hard to get close enough to emp the warthog and take it out since the gauss cannon can still fire.

Whether or not they’re able to take it down is irrelevant, even if they’re total newbs, do they not deserve a level playing field at the bare minimum?
Shouldn’t the newbs at least get the courtesy of being beaten on skill, rather than losing because the opposing team was handed an infinite binary rifle?

Spawn symmetry with regards to vehicles is one thing, but spawning with weapons of choice is another thing. Spawning with a plasma pistol completely derails the efficacy and fun of commandeering a vehicle. Ordinance drops of power weapons is also another thing, of course, but here we’re talking about the plasma pistol as it obviously has more appearances in games since you can spawn with it. Not only are vehicles like turret warthog and Ghost weak, but now they aren’t even safe to be in any more. Constantly engaging enemy teams who can all potentially wield a plasma pistol? That’s like running on a suicide mission.
Anyone that uses the word, “noob” is a casual player. Enough said.
On to the point. Exile doesn’t even feel like a BTB map. It just feels like a mid sized team slayer map. Something that would work well for BTB OBJECTIVE if they ever put it in. (with regular chain guns hogs, no tank, and maybe one banshee spawn situated as close as possible to the middle)
Anyways, again, I feel like it would play better on another game-type than BTB slayer.

yeah I average 17 kills a game and have won 67% of my matches. Add to that the fact that we’re playing a game with epic randomness and unpredictability.
Oh. I also don’t give a damn about K/D and you shouldn’t either. It can barely tell your level of competence. Maybe if you’re below a 1.0 k/d.
