Exclusive Nameplate for the LOYAL!

I was just wondering if there was going to be a unique nameplate like the HALO nameplate only given to those who have played all the halo games up to Halo Reach as I would like to retain my current ones that I have unlocked through various means in Halo reach or be given a new one for remaining a humble servant to the halo guardians else be killed by them

I can see it, now :
“If you played Halo: Reach, you can unlock the armor lock nameplate for Halo 4.”

By the way, are nameplates confirmed or not?
It’s just a little thing, but I’d be interested.

I don’t see a problem why not.

Although you can tone it down on the “Loyal” part of the post. I’ve played every Halo since CE but I never got live until Halo 3, so there aren’t any records of me playing Halo 2 online.

SO while I’m loyal, I wouldn’t get the nameplate, just sayin’

Im all for them and the more the better …

  • The ones I have from Reach maybe .

I didn’t enjoy playing Halo Wars on another friend’s xbox, so I shouldn’t be forced to do so just for a single nameplate. ._.

I think this is a great idea. I have played every Halo game and this would reward the players that are veterans and clearly show how long they have been a fan of Halo. I still have my Halo 2 nameplate on Reach, anyone have that?

Halo Wars, Reach, HCE, H2, ODST, and H3! YEAH!

while nice, 343i has already confirmed Nameplates are not planned on being supported.

I never got the chance to play Halo 2 on XBL so I think it should be based on your game history (achievements list) Or they could work something out with XBconnect lol

I didn’t get a chance to play some of the Halo games online. It should be based on Xbox 360 games, not the original Xbox.

Except Halo Wars!

I don’t believe they have been confirmed. To be honest, I’d rather not see them return. By the looks of some images I;ve seen here on the forums, there is an entirely new layout for multiplayer that may have no room for nameplates. It kind of looked more like player cards.

How will they know if you played all halos. They don’t even keep record of Ce right, and not all people had xbl in the beginning.

The lobby has been redesigned completely and I can’t see anywhere they could possibly put them. Why even bother put them on the service record? It was just something simple to make yourself unique in the lobby.

I agree, there’s no room for them in Halo 4.

If they are in fact in the game, I don’t see why not. I wouldn’t get it, but it doesn’t make any difference to me.

No OP. Last I checked, 343 has not been developing new nameplates. It’s possible down the road, but I’d rather they focus on other areas then a new nameplate.

If there was a way to know exactly who played every Halo game before the next one came out, I’d say yes. But unfortunately, they didn’t give the Halo nameplate to people who played it on the Xbox, and there’s also people that didn’t have Xbox live.

I’m one of the people who have been here since 2001, but I played it on the Xbox, so I wasn’t allowed to get the Halo nameplate.

true they should keep it to the 360 Halos and add a certain unlock feature rank wise Halo3 reach the rank of sergeant and Halo Reach achieve the rank of colonel

Same here except I got live a few months after Reach came out.

I wouldn’t want it to. I ended making a new account during halo 3 to try to get a better rank in that game. it would be a let for those that played it all, but can’t prove it (no halo 2 online).
