I will probably never reach 152 but Halo 5 NEEDS armour effects exclusively for people who reach max rank, so they can display their achievement of reaching 152, otherwise people won’t really notice. Just like Halo reach, seeing people with that helmet with the skull (forgot the name) they looked SO badass and it kinda made me scared to be in a match with them. Seeing a spartan with an armour effect (preferably inclement weather Imo) would truly stick out and as an achievement for reaching max rank and making you look like a total badass.
I think they should add this in a future update ONLY for players with max, and I mean it can’t be obtained with req packs. Just like that Reach helmet.
Have you forgot that people can just buy req packs, giving them tons of xp boost etc. Its a good concept to award those who reach that level but since money is involved and not everyone pays it creates an exploit; not saying that money alone get you that rank but it will surely reduce the time needed to reach that rank significantly compared to those who just rely on game play to reach it
