So I still play reach and was wondering if anyone else had noticed this in the store. In the add on section there are two pre-order contents but they’re both the same. I have one of them installed but I don’t have the other one (they are both for the multi threat chest piece that you could get from pre-ordering reach from game stop). When I go into reach, and look in the chest section of the armory, I don’t have it. I also uninstalled the content and reinstalled it to see if that would make a difference but it didn’t. So would this mean that I don’t have the chest piece or would I need both of the add-ons to have it available?
Those items are listed in the store because those items are available for download. But, the items are only downloadable by players who have entered codes to get them.
If you have entered codes to get one or more exclusive items, you can check the Ready to Install section of Halo: Reach to download these items. Highlight the Reach game tile —> Press the Menu button on your controller —> Manage Game and Add-Ons —> scroll down to Ready to Install.
Thank you for replying but if you know that you have to have both of them installed then that would be a lot more helpful considering how I already knew the steps because that’s how I found out about this.

I actually preordered the game at GameStop too and never got the code on the receipt, I was really ticked off at the time as I thought I had missed out on something that would impart some kind of exclusive feature to gameplay. As time went on I realized that none of the armor pieces actually did anything at all - even ones like the health pack leg piece and sniper shoulder one. Even the exclusive ones like the two flames do nothing at all so it’s nothing to worry about; you’re not missing out on anything.
there was a couple different codes I think depending on where you bought it from. Some reach copies come with multi threat as a preorder and then limited edition has the recon helmet 3rd attachment and officer elite. Legendary edition comes with officer elite, recon and red flames.
EB Games for australian and canadian preorders had the multi threat. As for USA it was gamestop and I’m not sure about the other countries.
It’s funny, my friend purchased Halo reach(used) from GameStop a year or two ago, when he started playing it gave him red flames, recon helmet, UA chest and elite officer helmet. He has no idea how it unlocked for him.
