This is just a small thing which could influence maps but is not completely necessary.
When i first saw gravity zones i was completely excited. I was thinking maps where you could walk up walls and ceilings, however, i soon realized that this might be a bit too far fetched. Considering reach’s physics, it was near impossible to control your spartan upside down, then i thought that halo 4 would be the same. But contrary to that, there has been (some) discussion about halo 4’s new physics (although i am aware that halo 4’s engine is based on previous)
So can anyone provide some insight for me?
I think you’re asking for something that, unfortunately isn’t in the game.

I understand, is there a certain limit to the angle we can walk up? So like if a player could only walk up a 45 degree gradient - if a GZ is put in the slope could the player walk up steeper areas say like 80 degree gradient?
Gravity zones only change the pull on the player towards the ground, not the orientation of the player. You can’t have maps with players latched onto walls and ceilings.

No, theoretically, they would just fall down the steep slope a bit slower, or maybe they could glide a bit further up with a jump. It shouldn’t increase the angles you can walk up, however.

I think he’s talking about player trait zones, you can set them down in forge like a hill or safe/kill boundary and from there you can edit the traits players will have while standing in them, including gravity. From what I’ve seen, you can even make players “fall” upward, as if gravity is coming from the sky, but I’ve been wondering if you can make players “fall” sideways, kinda like those gravity beams in portal 2.
No, you can not walk on walls or ceilings. This isn’t MC escher. (MC being Master Cheif)
