Ok I know Halo 5 released last month and even though the campaign wasn’t the best it wasn’t bad but it perfectly set up Halo 6. Man if 343 does this right it will be the best Halo ever. So, we know Cortana has gone all evil and “against humanity”. She deploys guardians everywhere and it looks like one of those guardians are in the Sol (Solar system) by Earth. Now, Humanity/UNSC will have some major problems if their best ship (Infintiy) runs away from the guardian 5 seconds after it sees it. That is one thing. THEN THERE WAS THAT LEGENDARY ENDING! CORTANA HUMMING IN THE BACKGROUND, just like our Pal Guilty Spark used to do (he has to come back). A HALO RING! And Cortana has control over it (presumably). I hear two things. Possible activation attempt and FLOOD. FLOOD! Obviously Master Chief will save humanity once again, but imagine the emotion he will have knowing he is against Cortana, the only “person” that was with him really throughout. There will be more Chief missions because Halo 5 had more Osiris (I hope), and what about that end of Chief’s story rumor? What could happen? And then there’s also Arbiter and Elites. Halo 6 campaign has to be great! I hope they can pull this all off and put it together. Please 343! Make this the best Halo.

This story better have full chief its the last of his game appearances let us see him once and for all throughout the whole game

How?
-That big thing looks nothing like a Guardian
-Chief’s visor is cracked, obviously after the fact of Halo 5
Ok, using this, here is my theory. As seen in the legendary ending, a Halo powers up, and I think that Cortana is planning to use this Halo ring against un-submissive life. Locke may rally the Swords of Sanghelios and UNSC to deactivate the Halo. On the other hand, Chief and Halsey would search for a more definitive solution to this problem. According to the teaser, I think that the Chief travels the Ark to find the pieces of Mendicant Bias, the most powerful forerunner AI, to overthrow Cortana, perhaps using the flood. I would like it because it would add a dark feel to the game. As seen in the trailer, Chief holds an empty AI chip, which I predict he will use to take Mendicant Bias in. From there, he and Mendicant Bias will partner up and travel the galaxy, looking for ways to stop the guardians and Cortana’s plan. Mendicant Bias would be in Chief’s head, like Cortana was. It would fill in the space of having a badass AI helping you around. Except this time, we have Mendicant Bias’s extreme amount of knowledge. Perhaps he knows a way to use the flood against Cortana.
I think this theory is great because its plausible, but also combines our favorite halo elements: Dark story, universe at stake, fighting on the Halos, exploration, forerunners, and all that stuff. HOpe you liked my theory!
