I am. Just looking around to see if word of the event has spread around the Halo forums. It’s nice to see Halo back on the circuit, but I feel like if this event doesn’t reach the hype, or any hype, Halo will probably take a back seat again. I guess this isn’t a big deal to the casual gamer, but to the competitive guys, this event is going to mean a lot to the future of Halo on the circuit.
Anyway, if you’re going to the event I’ll see you there, if not, be sure to watch the event on stream.

My friends here in Idaho are doing the tournament for that MLG in Dallas! (Makes me sad since I was going to be there 4th man but I have a new born boy around the corner… But I’m very excited for him! :D) They already have plane tickets,hotel, and everything! I am stoked for them! They will keep our LAN team posted about everything that happens!
Probably because some people don’t find MLG entertaining. I am personally not a big competitive guy myself. Only competitive I ever watched was Gears 3 Hypefestation v2. IT was actually pretty good but Gears is more of a clutch game.

True- but then so is pretty much every thread I see on the 1st page, or it’s just another complaints thread. Thought this thread would be bursting with discussion about what people can’t wait to see at the tournament but I guess not.
