JK those are pretty good sales. Blops 3 got 5.79 million on 5times as many platforms. Destiny is 3.16 million as of said date. LOL!!!

These numbers aren’t accurate. MS hasn’t released them and vgchartz is well known for BS’ing numbers. That’s said, 3-4 million is prob close and is a very solid number. Halo 6 in a few years will double those numbers (install base will be much higher).

MS may not have released numbers, but they don’t need them to calculate retail sales, the shops release those.
judging by this id say the game will reach 5 million and halo 6 (if its equally good) will sell around 7.5 million. Although the best shooter on the market, the xbox’s unpopularity is killing the franchise, although the decline started after halo 3

It is the other games, I’m not defending 343i or Halo 5, there are issues, but between Halo 5 launching and this post I got Fallout 4, Tomb Raider, Deadpool (Xbox One) Star Wars BF, Darksiders 2 (Xbox One) and AC Syndicate, Halo 5 had a LOT to compete with, and I have not mentioned what I never got that others did.

1 million? No. It’s more around the 100,000 mark. As its below battlefront on XBL top played, and battlefront has a population counter, so estimating off that we get around that number. I doubt it’s ever higher than 250,000.
Are these just disc sold in store numbers ? I would think there is a large digital sales figure as well. A lot of us do digital download only. I haven’t purchased a disc since getting the XBox One 2 years ago.
There is no way in hell Halo outsold Star Wars, which is available on multiple platforms. Even if these figures were for xbox alone, I still say it didn’t come close to outselling Star Wars.

FYI just cause VG has a bad history doesnt make it wrong if Microsoft cant accurately argue that its not. Especially when Microsoft wont post the REAL details.
