Is MC’s evolution going to play a role in this? I mean, advancing his evolution couldn’t only surmise to him not being composed. There has got to be more? Is this going to make MC be able to age longer like the forerunners?
I imagine it’ll play a role somehow.

I had a dream that master chief took off his helmet. I expect him to look like a middle aged man, with some wrinkles and scars.And also he would have healthy brown hair that is combed neatly.
But because in Halo 4 Librarian changed Chief’s genetic make up, in my dream when I saw him take off his helmet, he had six eyes, and it was really creepy. Who knows what his face looks like under that mask now that he was geneticly altered?

My theory is “evolution” will be 343i version of level up, meaning as you progress not only on an XP type thing, but as you get more powerful you’ll evolve.
Either that or it’s a plot device.

Thats just a small scene of his eyes, he could have 2 more pairs of eyes under neath those eyes. The camera angle was very close up we barely saw his whole face.
This aspect of Halo 5 has me intrigued the most. What they could do with the whole genetic manipulation thing is limitless.

I tell you, the genetic change has given his face 6 eyes and a snake toungue under his helmet! I saw it in my dream!
I’d love to see genetic evolutions throughout the progress of Halo 5’s campaign that would significantly alter the gameplay experience. Not in a XP upgrade sort of way, but just like as the story moves forward. Even armor enhancements would work too! Maybe a telekinesis module not dissimilar to the Didact’s so Chief can actually size up to him and we get a proper boss fight (which, admittedly should have happened in H4 before the Didact was composed).

I am expecting something. I mean, something other than the guy smoking peyote’s “dream”, I am expecting Chief to age slow (therefore being in more games), become stronger, more powerful, etc etc to the point where he is wearing forerunner armor (as long as it stays green). That at this point, if he is still in the UNSC, and not a traitor he needs a name change. In this new trilogy they want to spice things up by making a traitor or some craziness, just promote him. Make people call Commander (even though I think he needs to be higher, they don’t rank up much higher for in combat roles).

Locke may have GEN2 suit but he is just a Spartan IV, MC is a Spartan II. It has been clear in books/comic that Spartan II’s were Titans, Spartan III’s were gods, and Spartan IV’s are demigods.

Well, Frankie did say in an interview a while back that: average S-II in GEN1 < average S-IV in GEN2.
Plus, a playable character is never going to be anything less than the best of the best.
I hope the two characters feel a little different as you play, the difference I am sure will not be as noticeable as a Spartan to an ODST, but something similar to that where you can really get an appreciation for the difference between the two.
