I’ve been a halo player since halo 1 on the pc. I consider halo 4 worse than reach was before they stripped armorlock out of the game. Here is what I think is wrong with halo 4:
1 spawning with a boltshotgun
2 your ranking system is meaningless. CSR is better but its going to be boosted and you should get -points for deaths. I shouldn’t rank down when I go 14-1.
3 Not unzooming the snipers when shot.
4 You took this idea of customization/classes but then you completely wrecked it. I have no incentive to rank up at all, I had everything I wanted after 2 days of playing.
5 Promethean vision is a necessity now. As is the ability that blocks people from seeing you with it. (its a necessity because you have to assume that every single person has a shotgun unless you have it thanks to OD)
6 Joining and leaving games was a mistake.
Your company kills everything you own so you shouldn’t have the right to make a halo 5. If EA wasn’t so awful and you weren’t so smalltime you would be voted the worst company.
Yes. We are all well aware of these issues.
The main problem is that 343i doesn’t consider them to be issues.

- Really, guys? The Boltshot? That’s got to be one of the most useless guns on offer. The Shotgun feature is only useful in tight corners when you’re camping. It’s range is just so completely truncated, it’s sad.
- Eh. Granted.
- I still find that being shot when in “Sniper” mode screws up your shot enough, especially when you’re jumping around while shooting the sniper.
- I actually liked that they did that, so you don’t have to struggle for too long before you can get your hands on a good gun, like in CoD.
- What? I haven’t used Promethean Vision in ages and while I’m not the best player it certainly isn’t necessary in any way, shape, or form. In fact, when I use it, it’s kind of underpowered if you ask me.
- I haven’t had a problem with that in ages, though I can see your point on this one.
All of your points are just disagreements with my opinion so there isnt much else to argue except I do have to say
1 yes this isnt gears of war. no spawning with one shot to kill weapons.
4 I was referring more to the abilities or classes or whatever they call them. You get the one you want and then its over with and all incentive to rank up is gone.
5 my k/d is almost 2.0 and almost everyone I see uses it constantly to stay alive. Once again just a matter of opinion though.
