Just shows me that 343 is only changing for the sake of change and that COD money/ fanbase.
all i see now are people blindly following 343i and not questioning a thing they say. they are placated with “it plays like halo”, and “it still feels like Halo”
> 343i could have easily taken our money in spartan Ops, but wait…
they are only giving us the first “Season of Spartan Ops”. and its included in the price of the game. meaning in today’s gaming economy that you have to pay extra if you buy it used.

You really think any of us have a legitimate clue? You could argue they are building off on the success of concepts in the FPS market right now pretty easily. Everybody copied Halo, now everybody copies Call of Duty. However, 343 still appear to be retaining Halo’s core.
> . they are placated with “it plays like halo”, and “it still feels like Halo”
Maybe because it does. Are you saying all the people who have played it (who aren’t 343) are liars? I trust them. I trust 343, most of the things they are implementing seem good ideas and I am looking forward to trying them.
From what I’ve seen and heard this Halo does not sound like any other Halo in the past and you can see this as good or bad thing. The players who played Halo 4 did not say it was outstanding or incredible - but nobody said it that they disliked it. I have no idea how Halo 4 will play out but its clear that 343 are putting more work into the campaign than the multiplayer.

i dont trust people who are required by the companies they work for, (IGN, KOTaku, GI) to say it feels like halo. plus they got to play it with 343 present, no one is gonna tell them their game sucks to their faces
and of course 343 is going to say it feels like halo. they want it to succeed.
most of the things they are implementing are casual generic FPS dribble.
> most of the things they are implementing are casual generic FPS dribble.
Doesn’t mean they will result in the same gameplay seen in other games. See this whole open mind thing works both ways and yours is shut firmly. You chastise folks for blindness yet are blind yourself.

I don’t consider Louis Wu, Killa Kc, Mig to be these people. I feel they were honest in their write ups. Everything they said wasn’t blind praise. Honest praise was the tone I got, along with a hint of a change to be expected.
Also, my ultimate goal is to get thanks from Deception Cobra! I’m working on it ahha

Spartan ops is going to stay free with the first season. It is not confirmed on whether or not they will charge for the 2nd season. But this is business, so they may charge and if so, it shouldn’t matter; as long as this first season proved to be very well, then I should have no prob buying the second season.
Imo, the standard game will launch with spartan ops and still be 60 bucks.
It wont be like Cod elite, where the features is included into the special edition as like 90 bucks or something.

It’s all about the profit, forget the classic fanbase.

because forcing me to earn weapons, and “perks” its unbalanced, and essentially destroys entry level-after day one gameplay. Unless there is a harsh true skill system implemented, you have day ones playing day 151’s and the level of balance is shot to hell, not because of player knolwage, but because Mr. Day 151 has something that heals them faster, extra grenades, a BR, Sprint and Camo, and Mr. Day 1 has an AR and Sprint.
That’s not balanced, Mr Day 151 should be better because he knows the maps, he has a better shot, not because hes played longer and earned some gimmicks that give him the edge. I’m all up for new things, just as long as- Like other Halo games, they are available to everyone on day one. At least the its even, everyone has the chance to use something or not.

How do you know this will for sure happen? Seriously, how do you know?

Josh Holmes has already confirmed that you will unlock weapons as you progress.
I’m sick of these complaining threads. Just don’t buy the game and don’t come on these forums, PLEASE! You’re not much of a Halo fan if you can’t even wait to see what the game is even like…
