Not to long ago I’ve completed collecting every unlockable item with the exception of emblems(bcs emblem unlocking is weird) and Achilles helmet. I did this naturally with the exception of buying the weapon skin packs. Since then my Halo gameplay has significantly dropped. I used to play everyday, now I go weeks without the need to play. Except the few times I log on in order to remain in my company. It just without anything to unlock and collect Halo becomes boring and repetitve really fast. I emphasize repetitive too. Too few maps and game types and the list goes on. Granted they change the Featured playlist every so often or they add a “Super” or “Turbo” to an already played gametype to up the wow factor. It still very short lived. Even with the community maps added to the rotation its only limited to two playlist in Arena and not at all to Forge. Yes, there is the Achilles helmet to look forward too but, that’s long term. I need short term rewards to keep my interest now. Even though Reach update is almost here that too will be short lived. Yeah its my fault for unlocking everything too fast, but at some point it will happen and then what? Halo 6? Even that I dread what will 343i do. I mean there are no new gametypes in Halo 5 that were not in previous Halo games. Warzone is just a mod of BTB, territories and Firefight w/ better weapon choices if you think about it. To me it is. Not sure what you guys think. Arena, the gametype with the 5 round win is not really new either. Again, to me at least. I don’t know anymore. I think I ranted off there in the end a bit. Back to my original point I think was that finally unlocking all the armor, weapon skins, etc… At least for me, was not all as satisfying as I thought it would be. You can feel differently. That’s for you guys to write about it. Um, yeah Im gonna end it there before I go off on a tangent. That and my pizza is here. So, have at it.
