-The focus on base player movement upgrades rather than loadouts. These include all the abilities available because of the awesome thruster pack that has saved my life countless times and earned me kills. It all makes for a very fun game in which you must become skilled with all the abilities at your disposal in order to be successful.

This is most certainly the Halo I have been asking for. I will support 343 for as long as they maintain this direction. It’s a return to competitive arena Halo as we had known it from Halo 1-3. I am very pleased with this product. I just wanted to let 343 know that there are a huge percent of fans like me who have their back on this game. After the awful game that was Halo 4, this game is a tremendous leap in quality. Thankyou 343 for the next few years of enjoyment that I can receive with this game. I feel like i’m experiencing the thrill of Halo 3 all over again. I’m extremely excited.

You have my battle rifle. As bad as Halo 4 multiplayer was, I wouldnt mind a campaign as convincing and compelling. With larger set pieces though
I agree with you, ordinance, map and personal and loadouts are what made me dislike halo 4. Although I did like when my ordinance was a sniper on ragnarok or a shotgun.
Thank you all for the support. And yes, i suppose we do still have to wait and see what the campaign gives us!
Great post. Game is solid. The thrust pack sets up very well for sweet plays. Also want to mention to anyone who doesn’t know about the BXR medal. My new favorite medal. Thurst, melee , headshot. Again great post. And great game

I think I may have gotten that one by accident haha. Will have to try for it next time
Even though I enjoy all Halo games and see them all as individual entities in and of their own, I agree with you and not only am I enjoying the beta- it is completely ruining the MCC multiplayer for me- just can’t hold up

The other games are certainly showing their age in comparison. That is a good thing. A very fresh but still old school Halo game is what we have here with Halo 5
