Everything Halo 5's UI is currently missing

The Halo 5 user interface is lacking a lot of aspects and details previous Halo games used to have which is unfortunate and does have an impact on the user experience in Halo 5.

I would like to take the opportunity to mention all the things the Halo 5 user interface is missing and all the aspects of the interface that should be improved:

Pre-game lobby:

  • Visible gamertags
  • Visible CSR and SR ranks
  • Option to view someone’s Spartan and Spartan Stance
  • Option to mute someone
  • Option to view someone’s gamercard
  • Option to follow someone
  • Mic indicator to see who’s talking
  • Option to party up after a match like we could in Halo 3

Carnage report:

  • Option to view your earned Medals
  • Option to view your Tool of Destruction
  • Killed most and killed most by information
  • Option to view the report after leaving the lobby

CSR:

  • Rank progression indicator
  • Previous Season CSR ranks

Service Record:

  • Option to see previous carnage reports
  • Option to view someone’s REQ Collection

Playlists:

  • Ranked and Social playlists should be split in different categories like we had in Halo 3 and Reach

It’s far from horrible, but this is good, constructive, non-hate thread I’ve seen.

Agree with all points except for “seeing someones REQ collection”

This is unnecessary and if it can be accsessed pre WZ game, you can plan strategies

Also i would like to add “mvp” overview at first page in carnage report… as seen in Halo: Reach

I agree completely. One of the biggest reasons clans haven’t moved over to Halo: 5 yet is because of the awful UI.
It makes it very hard to keep a clan organized.

Hopefully 343i sees this and does something about it.

Only things I’d like to see are the carnage report medals and party up feature (that only works for folks on your team previous game).

Don’t you just hit the back button? Or are you talking about viewing games beyond the game just played?

One of the reasons I stopped playing halo 5, not only did I hate the ui but I also realized there was no hope for halo with 343 in charge.
3 years to make the game and they not only butcher the ui, but they do so with removing much loved features e.g medals… Makes no sense, why remove it??

Yes!!! I totally agree… With all the other FPS games out there, Halo 5 seems to be the most lacking of content and basic visuals. The UI looks so plain and boring.
