Everything feels wrong...so wrong

Let’s try to forget the million things missing from this game for a second (proper theater, medals in post-game, party up, etc.) and focus on why this game doesn’t work, shall we?

I just got put into a game from the main menu. I pressed A on Arena, it started searching, and I pressed B to back out. I hit “Okay”, which I don’t understand why that message appears in the first place, but I pressed “Okay” and was sent to the main menu with Campaign, Multiplayer, etc. listed. At the top of the screen, I see “searching for players”. I wonder why it says that, assume it’s lag, and begin to go back into the proper playlist. However, at this moment, I am put into a lobby with 7 others and begin playing CTF on Coliseum. Cool, thanks for that.

What is the purpose of the boosty-melee thingy? Whenever I do it, nobody dies, but I’ve seen it one-hit-kill people before. Is it a OHK? Is it needed in Halo? I feels horrible and makes it even more difficult to avoid getting punched in the back by some guy who’s been following you for 50 yards but doesn’t show up on the broken radar.

Why is the radar so bad? Just throwing that out there.

Why is aim so horribly difficult? I’m playing on 3 sensitivity and still can’t his a standing target.

Why do I keep playing with the same players? I’ve played with some dude 3 games in a row, either on my team or on the other team. That shouldn’t happen if the game is actually this popular.

The radas is almost useless, the red point doesn’t show up until you have it right behind/in front of you, is like playing without it.

I thought I was the only one with a -Yoink- aim. Whenever I grab a BR, I just can’t hit 4 shots on someone, then I give up and grab the SMG or the AR, because those things destroy anyone even if they are not close.

Complaining about spartan abilities will get you nowhere. I agree on the radar though
BTW spartan charge is a 1–Yoink- from behind and takes down shields from the front

The spartan abilities feel powerful and awesome, and if you know how to play the game you can use them to your advantage. The radar is a little iffy, I understand why the made it the way it is though. You shouldn’t have to rely on the radar to win battles though…think about it.

Radar is bad so you don’t just know where everyone is the whole time.

Not to sound mean, but if you can’t hit a standing target then you’re just bad at aiming. My advice would be play some Team Swat. You’ll get your -Yoink- handed to you at first if you’re new to it, but that mode gets you good at aiming fast. either that or you keep losing.

And you keep playing with the same players because that’s how matchmaking works. The game tries to keep as many of the players from the previous round as possible. Otherwise matchmaking would take longer.

If you dont try to exit before intermissions ends (30 seconds), it’s your fault. This is the best entry the Halo series has seen since 2 was released. Stop whining.

The gameplay feels like destiny
Edit destiny titan strike class put two and two into one

You find it hard to hit targets because there is little aim assist in the game

No, he finds it hard to hit targets, because there is -Yoinking!- atrocious velocity jumps in the look mechanic. The aim assist is no different than other halo games.

I agree that we don’t have enough info on how the radar works. Crouching makes you non visable on radar but what else can you do? Also I think 18 meters is too short. It needs to be around 22.

As far as aiming goes this is the lowest aim assist in any Halo game. It’s a move geared towards esports. In the October Sprint episodes they go over it with clear UI and all. So check those out on th e Halo channel.

Again, not the case. The aim assist is comparable to other halos. What isn’t comparable is the nasty velocity jump between the “turn” threshold and “aim” threshold. Considering you played the beta, you really feel like this is a better look mechanic? If you agree, I want to vomit.

So many things to be fixed in multiplayer :frowning: No patience to wait for months of on going patches like MCC

Why would they change radar? It makes no -Yoinking!- sense. It’s basically worthless now.

Ohhhh no no no Destiny feels a lot heavier than this game.

343i played it safe with h5 that’s the biggest problem there’s non of those epic moments in the campaign like in previous halo titles and the multiplayer is just a slightly improved version of h4. warzone feels like a cheap moba knock of 3 lanes, base with Ai and a “level up system” that unlock more powers nothing in h5 feels origanal to me it’s good but not great only btb and the community maps that will come with forge can save it now.
