Back in the day of Halo 3 I often got a message post game regardless of win or loss, “GG” In this day and age you don’t see this very often, instead here are some typical things you hear and may get as a message post game today in Halo:Reach. Feel free to add your favorite excuses or cop outs post game to this thread. LETS GO

  2. 1v1 me
  3. You Eat
  4. I would own you on LAN
  5. Stop playing Halo
  6. Dude in Halo 3 I was so good
  7. Dude nades are so OP in Reach
  8. OMG you used Armor Lock you are soooo gay
  9. Stat -Yoink!-
  10. You havent even beat Campaign on Legendary alone GET OFF ME DUDE your garbage
  11. Dude your a Hero…and Im an Inheritor im obviously better than you.
  12. I couldnt hit anything that game
  13. I got blood all game man

Those are all I can think of atm but feel free to add your favorite cop outs or excuses from matchmaking.

Very rarely will someone say GG now days.

All i get is “1 V 1 -Yoink-!” “you suck at halo kid”, “you’re soooo bad”, “wow try hard get a life” etc etc. I always seem to get these kind of messages after winning too.

It’s bad. Real bad.

I’ve actually gotten several “good games”. But I was genuinely shocked since that isn’t how it normally goes down.

I never get kind messages, I only give them.

Back in Halo 2 & 3 I would give out a “gg” message to those exceptionally great games. That eventually wanes when all you get in return are hateful messages from children who can’t see the joy in playing a good game win or lose.

If I see someone on either team playing exceptionally good, working with their team or handling a situation well, then I do applaud them for that.

If someone goes around talking trash about someone who did better than them, I defend the victim, and berate the person doing it. Probably my biggest flaw.

I do give kind messages, but it is exceptionally rare to recieve them from anyone outside my friends list.

I give out good game messages if the person was good. I don’t however, if they’re good and -Yoink!-. That is not good sportsmanship. Yesterday, I was in Anniversary letting these guys get a few kills on me cause I was the only one against a team of four. Needless to say they teabagged, so I kicked them to the ground. 35 to 14, laughed at them afterward.

I love it when you take out two or three opponents, and then someone comes in and cleans up, and thinks they need to -Yoink!- you…

I got “u guy unfar” today…That was a new one.

Kind messages are very few and far between but they do happen. Most of what I get though would get me banned for posting here. :frowning:

I’ve received some awesome ones before…

I remember a guy sent me a recording of the Tourettes Guy, that was funny. My personal favorite was when I sent a good game and I got back a juicy F*** YOU.

Super funny.

The best way to just make any troll question his exsistance Post game is with a GG. I mean come on imagine talkin huge bs to someone and then all you get in return is "GG man’ my 1 and only possible reaction would be 0_0 “wtf”

Hate mail was rampant in Halo 3.

I remember getting a voice message saying “Dude, all I can say is… get a f***ing life dude. Go out at the weekends and get laid.”
That was in Halo 3 though.

I usually send them a smiley face whenever I get hate mail. They never know what to say then.

Just sent a GG message to the opposing team we beat a while ago. I only got one reply, but it was hilarious.

“u gys are so dum all u car about is ur kd go back to swat noooob bet u dont hve girlfrend.”

I replied with ‘U mad bro?’, and he sent me a voice message. He sounded about 11 years old.

‘The only reason you beat me was because I was with your mom’. Guys this needs to stop. I think I file complaint people that send me this hatemail like 40 times.

The following is a message I got after a player rage quit when I killed him 7 times in a row;

potentially in a high pitched squeaky voice "You only beat me because you spammed your gun, camped, hogged the power weapons and used Armor Lock!"You know what? He was right, I did all those things and he forgot double pummel :wink:
