So I’ve played a fair amount of the campaign playlist on this game. I’ve done at least a couple from every campaign, including the 45 mission Master Chief saga one. Then a couple days ago, I finish another playlist and as I return to the main menu, the game tells me the active profile has signed out, even though 1: I didn’t tell the game to sign me out and 2: I was still listed as signed into my gamer tag on the main menu. I then realized that my logo was different. I then, to my horror, discovered that everything had been reset. Everything was gone; it said I completed 0 playlist, 0 campaign missions, even the colors of my Spartans from each game for multiplayer had been reset to the default colors.
This is extremely frustrating. It also makes me mad that I know all I can do is complain on here, but nothing will bring everything back. Yesterday I started the long trek of making up lost ground and started the “Flooded” cross game playlist. I completed the first 4 missions and saved and quit. Then, I get on today and I go to resume the playlist aaaaaaaaand it starts me at the 2nd mission. What the hell gives??? It is super frustrating especially cause it means I have to do the Library mission from Halo: CE again (which seems to just drag on and on and on). It also now lists 3 random playlist in the cross game category as being almost completed; i.e. 4/5 missions complete or 3/4 or something like that (being 1 mission short of being complete) even though I had them 100% complete before I randomly got reset.
I assume I am not the only having these issues or similar issues. But it is now August, how is this stuff still happening? How is this still a problem? And I think I know the answer to this, but is there literally nothing I can do? Nothing to get my stuff back? Or to insure that when I save and quit in a playlist that I’ll be able to pick right back up where I left off?
Frustrating.
