Since mythic FF has came out it seems like people are a lot smatter and more effective in regular heroic an legendary. Do you guys feel the same?
I actually managed to win my first Mythic game
But yeah, people I think are starting to play starting smarter and using their reqs more wisely
other than mythic i’m seeing my win frequency go up and i’m not constantly the top killer/scorer every single game now. its good to see actually
I had other thoughts this week end when playing mythic FF. People struggled to get past the 1st and 2nd round.
Also has no one else still not notice that ai got considerably weaker around Christmas. They perked up a bit but they aren’t any where near as challenging though not that it was a bad thing cause they were too OP but every now and then the ai are super weak it is unreal.
I think Heroic is just easier now. Before the FF update, I was always losing games and now I’m winning just about all of them.
I felt that this was happening well before they even added heroic or mythic firefight. When firefight first came out I’d only win about half my games if even that. But everybody knows how to beat it now, and I win pretty much every single game of firefight I play, heroic or legendary. I haven’t won a game of mythic, but me and my team of randoms made it to the last round every time I tried.
Playing Mythic is a good way for me to warm up and then play Legendary. Playing Heroic is a good way to try different strategies to take down bosses much easier and to later try the same in Legendary. And all this practice has helped me and my random team mates to win Mythic FF matches on at least 5 of the 8 maps. Which reminds me, I wonder what happened to Escape from A.R.C.?
I think breaking out FF into different tiers has helped weed out the slackers. Everyone knows that Mythic is brutal. So chances are you’ll get like minded players who are willing to use REQs to get that win. Plus the RP/XP payoff is pretty nice. People who want to chill and cruise through a few PvE games can hang out in Heroic.
I’ll be honest. I’m just playing Heroic to get the FF win commendation done and to get my Warzone win ratio back up, lol. The regular Warzone matching system is terrible so it basically just plummets playing solo.
The first couple of times, I played Mythic I was like OK that was so bad it hurt my soul. However, more and more I was part of winning teams, so I don’t know if everyone is getting better at it, but yeah I do seem to think I am winning more often than in the past

yea i decided to do a couple games of regular warzone, mistake, i actually played ok and finished positive but atleast 6 people quit out of my team and both time the enemy team got us back to our core then ran/drove/flew around in our last base and core and just merc’d us over and over again

Yeah they changed all warzone ai to heroic instead of legendary

The number of enemies also reduced quite a bit.
There’s something about as people of different skill play a game over a certain period of time eventually they all start averaging out to a common skill level. That’s probably what you’re seeing.
Or I’m blowing smoke. Who knows
Also, they added Heroic it’s been much easier.
As the weaker fall of the map and leave the game, the stronger and more dedicated players will crop up more often.
Your most likely playing with people who have always had a strong grasp on the game.
Not to say people haven’t gotten better though.
People are doing better, but I refuse to play mythic without a full team. It’s ridiculous. Last Saturday I had a game where the highest player on the team was like SR40. These idiots are spraying AR’s cross map and just getting mowed down over and over again.
I just wish I could teach people not to rush those early round bosses and clean up as much AI as possible to get your Req level up, then kill them. It seems like every game someone takes a scout hog out and runs down the bosses in under 30 seconds. DON’T DO THIS! Wait to kill the bosses in the 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd round depending on the boss type. This is extra important on Legendary and it’s part of how you beat mythic. Going into the 2nd and 3rd round of mythic at req level 2 or 3 because people splatter bosses right away is a sure fire way to lose every time.
