Guys. They said that they would announce a lot at E3, they also said that it would be ready. I take them saying ‘ready’ as, being done. Maybe a few tweaks left here and there, but mostly done. Now, E3 is in 6 weeks. Do you really expect for them to change entire portions of the game, in 6 weeks? Do you guys understand the complexities of add/customizing the things I continue to see posted?

Sprint - No way they could do this, it would have to be a new… everything.- More armor customization - Why would you expect for this to take a few days? I assume it would need a bit longer than that, due to cutscenes, and the amount of customization that you guys are demanding.- Specific weapons damage manipulation - I can see that this could happen within the time, but you have to realize, they have to make sure it’s balanced. That takes longer than just changing the hit rate, damage, etc. They have to test it as well.- Additional weapons - Not going to happen so close to release/finishing.- Invasion gametype added - Why do you think that they could do this within a release date, let alone before E3/when they are done?- Removal of smart scope - Far too much work has gone into their weapons to take this off. It’s here to stay.- Ranking system manipulation - Again, not nearly enough time to completely revamp and test out a new ranking system.- Adding in certain characters that were never there, or redoing the entire storyline - I think you guys should be able to figure out why this just can’t happen.- 4 player split screen - No, just no. They have told you it’s not there, you making more and more threads will not change their mind.This is all that I can think of at the moment, but come on people. Why do you really think that 343i will completely revamp what they are doing because you’re posting multiple threads on their forums?

The creating of discs, packaging, etc takes months. They will only have at most 1 month afterwards, do you really think they can add/manipulate such large portions of the game in 6 weeks before e3, 4 weeks after, or 10 weeks, if they started right now? I don’t.
New gametypes added to the game are nothing new. Remember Ricochet? New gametype added with DLC then made open to everyone. Invasion could be added in the future.

I meant the ‘invasion’ part that people are asking for. They would have to make entirely new maps, and more for this to happen.

Yes, feedback is fine, but a majority of the ‘suggestions’, are demands and ultimatums that people are throwing at them. Hence why I am showing them that it’s just not feasible.

I thought developers just sat on all the finished copies of their game up until release.

Soundtracks are usually the last step in the game and with roughly five months left, it’s safe to say the game is done and they are working on the soundtrack while fine tuning some elements of the game

Not soundtracks but VO and localisation.
I love Halo regardless if 343 doesn’t take all the suggestions. Most of the suggesters are total oblivious -Yoink- bags.
Some suggestions are still possible via DLC, but as far as game mechanics, the confirmed ones are unchangeable. I usually take the “suggestion” threads with a grain of salt because I know 343i will take only those that are still possible within the time frame.

They would have already MADE the game, meaning that when it gets sent off to be made into discs/downloads, etc you can’t manipulate or change it.

Telling people not to pre order, and that they won’t buy the game unless it has sprint taken off, or smart scope is no longer there… that’s sort of not a discussion.

Man, 343 has NOT finished Halo 5 Guardians yet. When developers finish a game, they announce it saying that the game is GOLD.

That’s their own decission. If you say to 343i “I won’t but the game unless it has sprint taken off” that is no suggestion man…suggestions are based in solid arguments

I just said that it wasn’t a discussion, it was an ultimatum and a demand. That’s waht I said.
