Why shouldn’t we be pissed and calling them what they obviously are? If you need a beta for performance based XP. If you drop a feature that defined the franchise after telling us how important it is. If you deliver ONE map for the respective gamemode (arena and btbt) in 12 months. If you still face massive network flaws. If push back release features over and over again.
Well, then the community has every right to call you these things.
No problem. Call them out. What we don’t need is the hyperbole of a lot of the posts. Make the calls constructive.
I imagine it’s only “beta” so they can soften the blow if they need to reign in the scoring options.
I imagine it’s just too much time and effort to get it running on the Xbox One.
Yep. This one hurts. But I am very interested in seeing how the two Forge maps hold up in November.
They did at least acknowledge there were huge issues. Not sure what a “UCN” is though (I think that’s the term they used).
Season 3 to March is especially galling.
Yep. But as long as they do it civilly. Without undue hyperbole (that’s just me - but I find it much harder to feel sympathy when you’re someone is going over the top).
And it’s important to acknowledge the good parts of the road map too.
And if so, it’s disappointing and frustrating. But more understandable than “pathetic”.
But I also concede I have no skin in this game. While I fondly remember playing Halo CE on 4 big TV’s in the rec room after hours - I couldn’t do that now. Split screen make me nauseas. I need my own screen. The kids can join me from the PC.
We’ve been patient. Too patient. We’ve waited, and waited, and waited. Through delays, prolonged silences, more delays, more silences, unnecessary changes, broken promises, MORE DELAYS…
We have been patient for God knows how long. Enough is enough. Things need to change NOW. Stop giving them a chance every time. They’ve screwed up so much and rightfully should be called out.
