I’m Sorry But you guys really need to chill out. I know 343i is taking a long time to get new content out but does not excuse you to call these devs bad, lazy, incompletent. They have done an excellent making this game so far and doing what they can to improve it. You guys seriously really need to be patient and give them all the time they need to make Infinite as good as it can be. I don’t care if it take smonths or years It will be done. Besides I have other things I can do until that time comes. Do you?

I don’t think you are going to have much luck with this one.
People have been pretty patient so far. And 343 tend to make things worse for themselves by going on long communication black outs before dumping bad news on us.
It’s a pity - because there was a lot of great stuff in the new road map. Lots. But the extra 4 months to Season 2 has left a bitter taste.
I’m betting on / hoping that Forge to be sweet enough to smooth things out. And if we’re lucky the rest of Season 2 will fly by as we’re knee deep in old map remakes and scripted versions of Races / Infection / Grifball etc.

I would hope forge will be something sweet but i feel like the loss to the player base past being reversible…
I mean there is notbing actually engaging about the game (Gameplay is fun, thats as far as it goes) …
Why cant they implement a social ranking system in the mean time at least it will be something to work on and keep people interest for now

Inital realise was delayed by a year if i remember correctly and tbey cant even say we’re learning… they have had three Halo games now and its the same sh it everytime,
Peple have been more than patient but atthis point it’s 343 being a sh1tty company that doesn’t listen to it player base and seems to be missmanaged to truck.
Also a game ahould not be released if it is in an unfinished/lacking content state… i hate this mindset of “they will add stuff give them time months/years”
No there should be at bare minimum all the core game types (Swat, infection ect) at launch and forge/coop should have been there from day 1 not a year down the line and still gets pushed back from the date they initially set…

It’s only an “beta” to see how it goes - and the ranks for it are coming later. But better late than never.
After all this time how can you get annoyed with people losing their crap? I’d love to hear what it’d take for you to finally lose your patience. Some have been waiting since 343 took over to get a good Halo game, others have been waiting the 6 years of Infinite’s development to get a good one. How much longer do you expect these players to wait? As for if people have other things to do, some people aren’t that lucky like you and me. They may only get one game a year.l and how long is it going to take for Infinite to at least be on par with content as say 3 or Reach? The game didn’t even launch with mission select, nevermind co-op and Forge etc. How many punches are you gonna take to get face before seeing the disaster that 343 have been with this franchise?p I won’t say the Devs are lazy as I don’t know what they’re doing, but I’ll definitely say they’re incompetent. And you say give them all the time they need. This is supposed to be a 10 year game, what if it takes 10 years to to even get good? Is that going to be worth the wait? Wouldn’t you and most others leave by the and play something else that at least isn’t 10 years old? Look, you can enjoy the game, but you’ve gotta see crap when it’s crap.

Really? This game is the first Halo FPS game since H5 in 2015. It has the biggest budget BY FAR of any Halo game EVER. It made millions and millions of dollars from the shop and people who bought the campaign. Nobody knows where it goes, but it certainly doesn’t go to sallaries or hiring new people. Everybody wants to leave ship if you look at the past few months. And still the game is broken by de-sync, a lack of maps and especially a lack of basic playlists because to UI-issues. Halo 5 has twice the amount of playlists Halo Infinite has. And you said we need to be patient?
Seriously, I now 100% believe 343 wants us to STOP playing the game. Who wants to play a game where seasons last 10 months, where 90% of all cosmetics come frome an overpriced shop? Where shots don’t register, where playlists are missing, where you can earn nothing from playing well. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose matches, the endgame is your wallet. I’m done. Whenever there’s an event like the yappening, I get on and get off as it’s done. This game will need AT LEAST 1.5 years of development before it can consider itself a videogame and not a beta.

Yeah sure. A game that can’t run more than 10 playlists at a time with loads of missing features, desync, player collision issues, bad net code, uninspired maps etc. Excellent job indeed. Our bad for expecting a full game with working feature day one. You’re right we should be patient. Perhaps even bend over too.
You being a fanboy and being happy with broken stuff is great. But don’t expect us to have standards as low as yours. I get what you mean, it’s a video game and we’re basically complaining about a first world problem, with those parameters you complaining about us complaining is like a step below our behavior.

343i and Xbox Studios released an open beta, called it a finished game and happily took people’s money, backlash was inevitable.

We’ve been patient for 7 years.
I strongly disagree that they’ve done great so far, they have more and more of an “anti-players” mentality in the direction they’re taking the franchise.
We should not be forced to boycott Halo in order to see a change.
It’s too late for redemption. We’re not getting the respect we decerve. It’s time they realise our role in the franchise’s success.

I still don’t know why they need to do a beta for a ranking system, they have made them in three previous Halo games already (4, 5 and MCC) so there is no reason for needing to beta test it really,
I’m hoping we don’t jut get an SR number rank… I;d like something like Halo 3/Reach where you have an actual rank and not just a numebr

I imagine the “beta” is just a safety net so that they can change the amount of XP being allocated if it’s not working as intended.
Agreed. Though I can’t imagine it’s any harder than implementing MCC’s xp system, adjusting it to match the desired average xp per gameplay hr and calling it a day.

No, a year in and they have little to show for all the work they’ve done, delays, and cut content. What have they been doing? A ten month season and taking away split screen is horrid. We finally get the DMR next year, and Forge isn’t even launching with a custom game browser off the bat.

The fact that we also KNOW that they’re sitting on a trove of cosmetics that they intend on charging us tooth and nail for doesn’t help.
If they wanted to help with the playerbase’s sense of loss, they could add unlockable, skill/achievement based cosmetics that are permanently available and not tied to cosmetics.
But no, most of them are going to try and gut their dying playerbase through their shop. The shop that seems to be the entire purpose of this game.
So much else was sacrificed in this game so it could be Live Service. Which noone I know had said they wanted for Halo.

No. This is an incompetent studio. Lazy to say the least. And their games are far from excellent. Very far.
They don’t know what Halo is and have destroyed one of the biggest franchises in gaming history.
They are liars with no shame at all. They can’t do what Bungie did with way less resources 15 years ago.
If that isn’t incompetence please tell me what is.

if failing to meet deadlines, keep promises, and deliver on what fans have been wanting/expecting for years isn’t laziness or incompetence what is it? 343i get exactly what they deserve. They seriously thought delaying Forge/Co-op was good news, they are a bit out of touch. I don’t hate 343i as much as I did back in the Halo 4 days, where they thought Bungie were stupid and they could out-Halo them by turning Halo into a cheap CoD knockoff, but its important to call a spade a spade.
