My friends and I have been playing Halo multiplayer since Halo CE, back when it was four XBoxes, and four tv’s split four ways- We’ve enjoyed the other Halo games as well, as well as many other games. There was always something that someone wasn’t happy with in every version of Halo, but far outweighed by the competitive fun Halo brought to our til’ 2 AM good times. We are all happy with what we’ve seen so far, and can’t wait for the Beta, and we’re all getting Halo 5.
Halo has always had smart scope, you just see your weapon while zooming now- it’s not ADS. You just have a better peripheral view, it looks slick and futuristic, and seems more immersive.
Games got faster- Sprint is just how it is. Just walk real fast if you really hate Sprint.
COD is ‘copying’ hopes and asperations of the militay R&D teams that are looking at the future- of infantry’s roll in warfare. The Spartan armor is based off of those types of principles. Spartans don’t just fast-walk and jump, and have enhanced strength- they can jet-thrust and juke, move with the agility and ability those present R&D people only dream of… for ‘someday’.
I’m sure the battle-chatter can be toggled.
The maps look gorgeous, with as much care, heart and soul as could be put into them. The gameplay looks and sounds slick and quick. Give 343i an honest chance with their work in progress. They knew there would be a lot of stubborn gripes- that’s why they’ve put out a Beta.
