Everyone go to Destiny!!

Lets go people!!
Move move move!

Something tells me we can’t move yet. When the beta comes…(if there is one)

Bungie lost a lot of my trust with Halo Reach…

I look forward to Destiny as well, but let’s remember to make posts about it in the relevant area of the forums, okay?

You guys will blindly buy the game, just because it’s made by a good company? Bungie has already said that Destiny will be a CLASS-based shooter, not an arena shooter. They also added, that if you come here for a Halo experience(the original trilogy) you are setting yourself for disappointment.
When a company makes a new game, it’s highly likely they aren’t trying to milk an audience with the same game with a different name on it. Bungie is one of those companies. Stop trying to deprive this game of players.

Yeah! Great idea! There’s no way Bungie could EVER let us down! They’ve never made a mistake in their life! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll definitely try the game if it gets good reviews.

…and you told them it’ll feature classes and magic and it’s already being likened to something between Reach, Borderlands, and Planetside 2. Because that sounds awesome to me and I really don’t want to hear NO all the time from that part of Halo community that will try to make Destiny into a Halo re-skin. Stay here if that’s all you want.

It’s not HALO, so don’t cry about it having magic, spaceships, and customizations.

High chance there will be a beta since bungie isn’t a stupid company, and they aren’t being rushed by -Yoink!-.Bungie has been working on Destiny since or before Halo:ODST, they left a easter egg in ODST on a sign labeled “Destiny Awaits” with a picture, which is a clear reference to the concept art of the game that they released to the public.

Also, this will be moved soon to general discussion i’m sure haha.

I’ll play both, since I’m not one of those narrow-minded fans who think every franchise is in constant warfare with each other.

Im staying on Halo 4.

I plan to follow both franchises.

But don’t get overhyped. Destiny will most likely be following the odern trend as well, meaning its going to be class-based. So don’t judge it based off the multiplayer being Arena like past Halo, because its not happening.

For me, the story mode looks really cool and I’m looking forward to it as with the rest of the Reclaimer Trilogy.

I really dig the persistent multiplayer world that Destiny is building. It’s kind of the direction I wished Halo would have taken instead of Spartan Ops and what not.

I’m apparently one of the few people who have the capacity to enjoy more than one game/franchise/genre/platform at any given time.
That being said, I am optimistically excited for “Destiny” and will be following news developments concerning it. But at the same time I’m remaining cautious. It is ActiVision publishing it after all.

I totally will become a fan of the destiny franchise and stay with the Halo franchise. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t stoked.

To Halo, or to Destiny, that is the question.

> To Halo, or to Destiny, that is the question.

Is it though? Why should we have to choose? I possess both the ability and the desire to play more than one game.

Today I learned I can only be a fan of one game ever.

Shame too cause I put in so much time in Pokemon, Dota 2, Heroes of newerth, World of Warcraft, Halo, Fire Emblem, Monster Hunter, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, TF2, Borderlands 2, and countless other games.

Aww man and I have a Legend of Zelda tattoo. This is awful :frowning:

Relevent
After Reach and the fact that I’m most of the time an offline single player guy it shouldn’t be a surprise. I like Bungie but just cant pay money for something that, even if I was online most of the time, in 10 years it’d become a paper weight.

What follows is but Pure speculation.

After seeing the ¨Destiny Awaits¨ easter egg in ODST yesterday. I get the feeling that Bungie was wanting to make other games besides Halo. I have yet to play ODST or Reach, but if Reach was as bad as people claim, then I suspect Bungie was under obligation from MS to do X numbers of Halo games. Once those were available, what happened between Bungie and MS? No, I actually dont know, and really dont care to.

However, I feel that Bungie had had it up to here with MS, and now Destiny is within a year of actually becoming a reality.

I for one hope that Destiny does so well that Bungie is able to fund itself many times over. If that happens… Why not aquire Halo back from MS/343 and really show us fanboys Halos full potiential. Be nice to have Halo playable on PS consoles as well.
Its what I would do. If the price were right. So…

Heres to Bungie, and to its newest flagship… Destiny.

Make Halo 5 like Halo 2 for gods sake. The games are getting worse and nothing compares to the level halo was at 9 YEARS ago. You would think it would get better but it is getting more and more boring. halo 2 multiplayer was perfect. The games were ranked and based on skill not starting out with a preload in every game type.
