Surely everyone realizes that 343 can’t change vast swathes of the game, not now. Things like removing entire weapons, adding brand new game modes (not playlists), heck, pretty much messing with the core dynamics of the game. Sure, they’ll change the playlists round, eventually add the file browser, ‘nerf’ or ‘buff’ whatever needs it, maybe even extend the level cap (hopefully). I just think it’s silly people going on and on about what should be changed, this is pretty much the Halo that its going to be. Personally I love it, it takes from all the past Halo’s whilst adding a new spin, a sign of any good sequel.
And for yoink’s sake, you can hear the boltshot charging from a mile away, it’s not difficult to avoid
They were able to remove bloom on the DMR with the Reach TU. I’m pretty sure they have the capability to change whatever they want.
In the case of Custom Games… those options should have been there in the first place! Just like they were in Halo 3! Why are we OK with shipping a somewhat incomplete game? IE: broken file share, broken Custom Games? These may not be important to you, but they are to me.
Wasnt there supposed to be classic playlists? Because during the time when we were waiting for Halo 4 some people were unhappy about the new style of MP but other people said “just play the classic playlists”
Weren’t there meant to be classic playlists?

and thats the problem…they won´t

Indeed there was supposed to be. In-fact, Frankie pretty much promised that a Classic Playlist would be available at launch… lol.

Well then say goodbye to the halo community and goodbye to halo 5 and 6

nah it will still be here, and just like normal when h5 drops everyone will say how much h4 was better.

pretty much this, it’s actually sickening how people think reach is something we should draw on for ideas on how to make anything better, halo 4 is leaps and bounds a better game than reach, and i feel it built off the more fun aspect that halo 3 captured so well.
I agree with you.
Some of the requests in threads have been ridculous and immature.
Examples:
Remove Ordnance Drops
Remove Kill Streaks
Remove Boltshot
Remove Camo
etc.
Some of these are completely new to the Halo franchise and have been added to make the multiplayer fresh and exciting and to prevent it becoming stale or a Halo 3/Reach clone which would have been a rip-off.
That some kids on here want to see them completely removed after all the time and effort put into incorporating them into the game is simply laughable.
Go and look in the thread about custom games and look at the “343 responds” section. They have now said themselves that they can add gametypes.

Thanks for that. That’s good to know.

Do you think there will be in a future TU?

Time and effort, huh? That doesn’t mean it’s a good feature. For example, a company could spend 5 years on game that actually sucks.
343i, in my opinion, ruined Halo with all of the unnecessary additions to gameplay. Ordnance, in-depth Loadouts, abundance of power weapons, no BTB Objectives, no classic playlist, no Doubles, no Snipers, and the armor is atrocious. The playlists should’ve been there from the start.

I agree, removing them wouldn’t be the best thing, just a nerf. Because THEY ARE problems. Not sure how you don’t see it.

Are referring to the Interview with Kevin? Because it looks like he didnt know what to say when asked about it and it doesn’t look very promising.

Please point me in the direction of where people said Reach was better. I’m not crazy about Halo 4, but I’m not about to call it a worse game than Halo Reach.
