When the VGAs roll around this year, Black Ops 2 is going to win Shooter of the Year. We can NOT allow this to occur. For too long CoD has been stealing the spotlight from all good games.
We have to make sure that Halo 4 wins Shooter of the Year and then…Game of the Year.
Also I just found out that MW3 stole infection, another thing CoD stole from Halo.
I’ll only vote Halo 4 if I think it’s Halo 4. I’m not going to do it because of blind fanboyism. 343i doesn’t need their first game to get an award it doesn’t deserve, because that’s only serving to hinder them for their maintenance of the first game as well as their development of their second.
We can’t really make this happen other then spreading the word that Halo 4 is going to be great because it’s almost entirely up to 343 Industries to make the game spectacular. There are no doubts; I have full faith in them. We will just have to wait and see. I guess if we all talked about Halo 4 so much around our friends they would think twice about it.
Oh well, if you don’t like Halo there’s something seriously wrong with you.
> What if Halo 4 sucks and Black Ops 2 is innovative and amazing? Cant really judge 2 games before they come out, it makes you look like a fan boy.
Call of Duty being innovative and amazing? That’ll be the day. That only occurred twice (CoD4, MW2.) Activision is a money -Yoink!-. They just mod CoD and slap a new title on it, and it works every year. CoD is selling more and more with each title (take into account that CoD is multiplatform.)
As far as quality goes though, Halo 4 will beat CoD. The fans need to take action and to break this streak of CoD being “shooter of the year” over and over again.
COD players are like the 99%, there’s lots of them and they think because of their sheer numbers they are entitled to everything including things they don’t deserve.
If CoD wasn’t releasing a “new” game every year I’m sure Halo would be a bit more popular now. I remember back in 2007-8 it seemed like everybody had Halo 3 AND CoD4. Now it just seems like the CoD fanboys won’t play anything else. Every roommate I’ve had that plays Xbox usually plays nothing but CoD. Nothing else. They see awesome Forge abilities of Reach, or the amazing gameplay of BF3, but they will not adapt.
And what’s sad is when CoD “Future warfare” comes out, it’s going to be still considered better than Halo.

Doesn’t make it any less pathetic. I happen to be someone who likes both.

The ignorance in your speech… That’s just like saying people shouldn’t have a favourite hobbie because it’s pathetic.
That’s really not that impressive. Also how is it that big of a deal?

Can you please give a legitimate source where you found this out at? Infection has been around before Halo. Honestly saying stuff like that makes you sound simple minded. Video games borrow from each other, and other things like movies. Cod is not the only game that does that. Halo also does to. So by using your logic. Halo stole stuff from the Alien series.
-Notice how the Elite Councilor helmet. Looks like the Alien Queen head.
-The Halo CE Marine. Looks like the Colonial Marine armor.
By your post OP. You sound like the typical biased Halo fanboy, that hates Cod.

Having a hobby is fine. Loving said hobby to the point that you rabidly defend it because another hobby is popular with venomous insults isn’t.

And who said that fanboys are ignorant and narcissistic only. I believe I am a fanboy of Halo and I do not constantly hate on every other game that breathes. I think you’re talking about the people who are excessive fanboys; ones which do not think about anything else.
This is the actual term for a fanboy, your version is twisted.
“A fan, sometimes also called aficionado or supporter, is a person with a liking and enthusiasm for something. Fans of a particular thing…”

Fans and fanboys are completely different. Fans are somewhat reasonable, most people here are just fans. Fanboys take things to a whole new level. Fanboys are the type of people to throw huge bitchfits over trivial matters. Frankly if you understand my definition, why are you so upset over it?

So you’re more right then official definitions? I’m upset more then anything that you descriminate people who unconditionally love Halo.
