As we all know, halo 6 is probably coming in 2018. And in past halo games, there have been weapons and vehicles. Some have never returned. What if, say, every single one made a return for the grand finale of the reclaimer trilogy? Chopper, spectre, Mauler, brute shot, focus rifle, pulse grenade, spike grenade, firebomb grenade, hornet, falcon, spiker, armour abilities, Shade turrets, fuel rod turrets, plasma rifle, plasma repeater, etc. All had unique gameplay, and it would be cool to see them all for the ultimate halo.
Uhm,some can stay away if you ask me.
To have the weapons appear at different moments in the campaign would make it interesting I guess, having the most common like the storm rifle and plasma rifle make the most appearances when elites are around. Brute weapons with brutes, things like the focus rifle could be on a single mission and there’s only a couple to give the idea it’s a rare weapon now.
In terms of multiplayer, the sandbox would be nice and with the right setup of weapons each map can truly feel unique and different. Same goes for vehicles. For example a btb map set as a battle against SOS and brutes you wouldn’t find a single human weapon or vehicle, everything will be elite and brute so spectre and Prowler as the hogs, ghosts as gungooses. Carbines and needle rifles as BRs and DMRs, you get the idea.
Some weapons belong only in certain games.
Especially if it’s random REQ or microtransaction related, we really don’t need ALL THE WEAPONS (someone with photo posting powers hook me up with a meme here).
I know that sometimes “more is more,” but sometimes “less is more,” especially in a game that’s already awash in unnecessary and extraneous stuff. Just imagine, for example, how many times you’d have to hit your (whichever) button in order to toggle through frags, stickies, splinters, spikers, incendiaries, flashbangs, and probably plenty of others I can’t even remember. No. Thank. You.
I think the current weapon variety is product of all of the balance experimentation in the other games. Halo 5 has hit the correct balance of diversity and power with its weapons.
So I don’t want all of the old weapons back. I’d be fine with a few though.
Uh no thanks. Some weapons are just stupid and would just take up space in my spicy Halo 6 req packs.

Its a nice thought but I don’t think it should happen. I feel like some of those are gone for good now, for better or worse. Also can I just point out that it’s no longer the Reclaimer trilogy, it’s the Reclaimer saga now.

Sticky Det and Flamethrower as well. I don’t technically count the Plasma Rifle or the Needle Rifle since the Storm Rifle/BPR and Blood of Suban both fill their roles completely.
Oh please no, the grenade spam is already bad enough with six grenades total…if you give people every grenade from every game, you’ll have…hang on.
1, 2, 3, 5, 6, plus possibly flashbangs like you said…thats 14 grenades per Spartan.

Well at least in forge. I had to use the brute plasma rifle instead of the regular one, and the grenade launcher instead of the brute shot in my coagulation remake.

The Pulse Grenade as presented in Halo 4’s gameplay is highly inaccurate. It’s actually a close range EMP burst, which is shown when MC disables the Didact’s armor (causing him to stumble) at the end of Halo 4. But I also don’t count Grenades as Weapons, for the sake of this post.
Just bring back the Needler Rifle from Reach, i loved that thing.
