There has been nothing but complaining, complaining and more complaining and the funny thing is people are just making new accounts after they have been banned for the 10th consecutive time, yes your ranking system that you so desperately want visible because you think have a bigger number next your gamertag is the best thing in the world is not in the game, get use to it, it is a number constructed of pixels! You sound you’ve got a gun to your head and if 343 industries doesn’t change then your screwed! Seriously stop whining like babies over who wants the better teddy bear or bigger lolly pop and grow up! Same thing for the bulletin complaining as well!
PS 343 Industries, you have done a great job at handling halo and don’t ever think that these people can put you down! Can’t wait for these last 3 days to pass by!!!
I was more saddened by the news that Campaign Theater wouldn’t be in at release. I really, really hope that they choose to fix the system so that it’s possible.
There are always going to be negative people before a major game release. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion. No matter how ridiculous/obnoxious they are.

Honestly, it doesnt seem like were the minority at all. Its not digital pixels, its a number that shows were better then them. Its a number that we worked hard for. Its a number to show people that they are bad at this game. Sorry to hurt your feelings, but were not here to make you feel better. Were here to kick your -Yoink- in halo and get recognition for it. There is no point in logging into halo to kick the same noobs butt again over andover and over and over until im bored to tears.

How is it broke? It still a valid argument, it sounds like some people in this forum would go to war and die for a number, which scares the freaking hell out of me…
If you payed attention to many of the arguments some players have provided which have substance, you’ll understand that they don’t want anything removed at all in terms of rank; they just want something added which caters to a faction of the community who enjoy seeing how well they do skill-based wise to the rest of the community. If you can’t now understand why it’s selfish of you to be against such a system (especially if it’s only visible to the player), then the underlying problem here lies with yourself and not the people complaining.
If you’re going into the real world with the mentality that everything someone does is right and could never be wrong, and that complaining is one of the worst things in society, then I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I don’t have that mentality, I see right and wrong in things, I’m just entitled to my own opinion on what I think a game is going to look like, and I think halo 4 looks great, unlike some people who believe that the way to get something is too whine like babies until they get and if there walking into the real world with that attitude then I do wish them luck in world, because there going to need it…

Yes, you are, but what are trying to accomplish by antagonizing players who enjoy skill-based ranks and use them to enhance their experience?
When 343i tell you that they are trying to suit your playstyle, then completely ditch and shaft a faction after telling them that they’ll release more information closer to launch about visible skill based ranking, only to then say “No”, will piss anyone off.
I can see a possible multitude of effects happening: no incentive for some players to win because players are rewarded whether they win or lose, which will lead to an effect of an inaccurate true-skill for the populous; added to the other variables such as join in progress and guests.

Now 343 tell us that too many people are butthurt and want everything on a silver platter and that we are too lazy to devise something that actually works. Which, yes is an assumption because 343 have kept us in the dark and explained nothing.
Seriously? The game has been in development for three years. All they had to do was give us some Information into how the ranking system may or may not work, but all we receive are cryptic messages.
Treyarch let their fans know, why couldn’t 343 let us know… it’s called PR and they are too worried about the backlash from the community.

Give the complainers a break!? How about the complainers give us and 343 industries a break! I’m not whining in anyway what so ever, I only state the truth of this situation, Treyarch has the space of year to release a game which means they have to blatantly tell you about the rank system, but isn’t the ran, always the same in cod… Oh yeah I forget it is… Invalid argument right there for you, so if 343 is so lazy how come we have got massive improvements in graphics and gameplay mechanics since reach and blacks ops 2 is the call of duty 4 modern warfare 5.0 for the series hmmm?

Why should we give 343 a break? We pay their wages, they make a game that the majority like. So, people are being outspoken to try show that there is still a large portion of the community that does care about a ranking system.
Please get your facts right before saying my point is void.
Black Ops 2 now has a “League Play” system on top of its progressive exp system.it has been COMPLETELY rehauled and made from scratch. So please, shush.
*Treyarch habe changed their whole loadout and perk system.
*All new maps.
*Pre order bonuses that MAKE SENSE.
*Rehauled their graphics engine.
Yet they still have the time to inform their community of a COMPLETELY NEW ranking system…so don’t tell me 343 haven’t had the time.
Treyaech one year, 343 three years.
The least they could’ve done is given us a yes or a no. Or just showed us hey?

The players without a trophy are always so quick to judge and put down those who have one.
And just so we are clear: I am on the side of wanting a skill-based ranking system.
