Ever notice how 343ers love the DMR?

In every piece of gameplay we’re given for these map packs, you always see the majority of 343 employees with the DMR. I’ve also noticed that several times when asked about their favorite loadout or weapon in some posts, they’ve said the DMR, like just now with this Landfall walkthrough.

Honestly, it seems like they’re blissfully unaware. They’re never going to nerf the DMR because it’s their precious weapon.

Every Halo game has had an “over powered” end all be all weapon. Why should halo 4 be any different?

So it can be the first one to have a balanced sandbox…

Ever see 343 inhouse players in action - they arn’t exactly pro’s which falls inline with the DMR being the noobtube of this game.

The BR from halo 3 wasn’t that bad. It sucked at long distances forcing players to rush each other on big maps like Valhalla. The DMR now is a 5 shot sniper. You can 5 shot people across map and they don’t stand a chance.

Well the DMR is not as bad as you think, but I never use it, just avoid long range maps then you see less DMR users. I use the BR.

the dmr is just so boring to use. duuur, duuuh, oh, got a dmr kill. cool. (yawn stifle). getting a kill with the carbine or the lightrifle or the storm rifle however, now thats gratifying. thats why i use only these guns. they are actually quite capable too once one gives them a chance and gets skilled with them.
