Ever have one of those matches?

That you are down by at least 100 points and nothing is going your teams way than all of a sudden you can do no wrong? One example is I was recently in a match on Adrift and it was towards the end of the match, score was about 500-400 than all of a sudden we started getting cheap kills like crazy. I even had an accidental triple kill with the sword, the kind where I thought I was dead after killing the first guy, I had even relaxed on the controller than realized i was not and somehow killed the other two. We had an 100 point swing and before the other team knew what happen we had won. Matches like this seem to happen often, it is almost like it is set up this way. I am sure it has more to do with the team that is up by a ton getting complacent, or maybe there is some sort of “catch up” rule conspiracy.

Yesterday.

Only needed 3 wins to reach the monthly challenge.

It took me all ruddy night.

Was stressing out so much, I rarely get angry at games but it was so frustrating.

Usually when people are about to lose they either gain focus and start playing better, or just altogether quit. When people are ahead they tend to relax.

That is another good point, when the guy on the team is having the old “2-15” match leaves, and the other 3 band together things seem to click. For the record I am on the losing end of the great come back matches just as often if not more than the winning side.

Only experienced this a couple times in Halo 4. Its a great feeling when you win. I’m sure my neighbors think I’m possessed or something. For the most part however, the “Trueskill” system has matched me in extremely close games. Huge difference from Reach.
