Even if...

Even if the game turned out “bad” in the majority of our eyes, there’s always the possibility of a title update.

Now I highly doubt there will really be a problem, but 343 has implemented a title update in Reach before, which means it’s always possible they could add one to Halo4.

I think we should all calm down a little. Broken features can be fixed if necessary, just wait for the game to be released!

Stitching scars…?

I think this epitomizes the general level of intelligence put forward in this forum recently…

Title updates and patches cost money, something a business doesn’t want to do if they don’t have to. What is making everyone complain and bash Halo 4 is not something that could just be fixed by a title update. Custom loadouts, instant respawn, random weapon drops, and the whole currency for unlocks are the whole selling point to Halo 4. They would not just get rid of that, even if the game flops even harder than Reach did. The sad truth is the game is not the Halo everyone knows, and it will never be again.

Why would you stitch a scar? Surely that would make it worse.

^ This! ^

It is useless to complain about the game now, you still have 7-8 months worth of reveals. People have to be patient and wait.

They are features, meaning they most likely will not be included in every playlist, and will be customizable in custom games. Why do you want a Halo we’ve already seen? Why don’t you want a change? It’s a new game by a new company. Halo:Reach may not be as popular as Halo 3 or 2 was, but it still has players, and is currently more populated than Halo 3. I think even if there were parts about Halo 4 that people didn’t like, people would still get over it and just play the game for fun. Real competitive matches should be played in custom games by teams (such as clan battles and what not). In such a scenario, both teams are insured to be communicating, and actually working as a team. Usually in matchmaking, there are many people in separate party chats or without mics, so TRUE competitive play is not really being jeopardized by the features hinted in the GI magazine (Because it was rarely there in the first place).

Just like they TU’d to give us ranks! Oh, wait.

Oh yeah, you’re right. I mean, ranks are the only way any first person shooter can truly be considered fun. Oh wait.
