I tried so many times solo queuing in arena slayer using focused
search type but mostly I am matched with 2 onyx or sometimes
high diamond (V - VI), that time I was just plat 6, seriouly this search
type overriding seems not yet balancing the game.
I’m thinking the problem arises on the number of players playing this game,
Does focus also has a contingency code like:
if(!match){
//search best ping players possible from the player division until onyx
}
It kind of frustrating to play with people not match with your skills, its like
murder 21-50 score, how is that.
Thankfully I managed to work my way to Diamond.
But the problem still exists the number of players is not that high to support
a skill based ranking system, I hope you change your system to what League
of Legends have done, you match with people in your division bracket.
The problem is that the population on H5 is low, so you finding a match with everyone in your division, such as Diamond for me in FFA, is nearly impossible. On LOL, the population is larger and more steady than that of H5, so you are more likely to find people in your division. The only time H5 even challenges the top 10 games is when a new update comes out. The MoR update release only got to #9 on the most played on Xbox Live.

Yep that’s the real problem, Halo 5 now is like a dessert.
They should rethink to change their system its really frustrating to play with
people you are out matched.
All of this is the effect that they screwed up the story really hard.

Yeah i get the same problem matching in focusdd either my skill range or my eu server that i need as a brit. I never get them. At onyx 1912 in ffa i should be closi g in on champ but can never get a fair eu server ( always placed on usa servers, impossible for a brit) AND dont get to play champs either. I will now never get to champ as a result of the settings being superficial at best and never getting the opponents due to low population. Man am i blammed off!
