What exactly does he do here? I’m not sure if it’s like an explosion that pushes him, or if he is using some form of evade. But what is he doing here? It might be nothing, but I was just confused what happened.
Thruster Pack.
It’s the Thruster Pack like evade but can be used in mid air to bridge large gaps.
That explosion you saw Uncle is the Thrusters Pack being used.
The Thruster Pack is the new Evade. You can thrust in most directions whether side to side, backwards or up. I’ve heard that if you use it and jump it’s sort of like a double jump of sorts.
Of course after one use, you go into a cool down period. Hopefully the sword lunge is reduced so we don’t get those epic lag tier hax lunges like we do in Reach.

Sadly, no. They’re two separate abilities. =/
What was shown in that video is the Thruster Pack. It is like Evade, but can only be used once per charge, and is usable midair for a double jump.
