I lined up 5 times. The game is simply awesome and surprisingly balanced. I managed to play Three FFA’s on Solace. One Team Slayer on Solace and Haven.
I also managed to record some footage of the new zombie mode. Links below. Fire you’re questions at me.
So knowing how skeptical you’ve been, give us your thoughts on the game. You still think everyone who played it before that’s said the same about the game being balanced were blinded by excitement or what?
Such a good day! I’m glad we got to play a couple of games on the monitors that were set up properly and didn’t have any delay issues. Shame the footage we got was on the dodgy monitors but I’m sure people will appreciate it nonetheless.
Also, Killing Frenzy despite delay; I am awesome. ;D
Numerous high perches that are Human-accessible, many with only one point of access.
Thruster packs that function identically to Evade, except now, they grant vertical movement, too.
And I swear one Human impaled another when he whipped out his Hardlight Shield, causing a glitch-suicide.
Humans had the high ground practically uncontested, and got away with camping their rears off most of the second round. The Zombies didn’t appear to pose a threat (until the Humans went out looking for them), but with stuff like Camo and Thruster Pack, they sure seem like they’d be annoying to fight. More like swatting at mosquitoes than surviving waves of space zombies.

To be fair, the Flood weren’t really the type of enemies that you would fight and expect not to be annoyed.

It’s scary how well you know me(saying that I’m scarce around these parts). I was surprised. It was fast paced, buttery smooth Halo at it’s best.
Sure i felt the AR was OP. But each primary gun seemed to be as good as each other. The head shots i pulled off with the BR even shocked me. It’s a lot more accurate than people think. AA’s to be honest i’m still alienated by them. I didn’t feel there was one that suited my play style. I felt all i needed was sprint. But they didn’t get in the way and cause cheap kills. Like how the regeneration field blurs vision whilst in it.
The new grenades are pocket power drains. Use correctly you can turn the tables so easily.
Oh one last thing, BLEEEEEDTHROUGH <3

Hahaha, I’m smarter than you people give me credit for.

The AR is badass now! It’s finally more than just a peashooter. But seeing how we can customize loadouts, I suspect it won’t be in play THAT much since we have such a wide arsenal at our disposal. I have a feeling people are going to tend to the new things, especially at first.
I found myself more or less only using sprint too. I tried out PV a couple times but since we were playing CTF, people weren’t really creeping so it didn’t help me much. But it looked cool at least when I used it! Otherwise, I usually had myself set up with Sprint and Thruster pack and was really happy with that.
You’re right on the 'nades. They are good but they’re also a little harder to use I found. They aren’t as bouncy I don’t think and the trajectory for the plasmas is definitely something I had to relearn. And yes, bleedthrough WITH NO HEALTH is nice.

It looked to me that he was killed by an infected person. You can see what looked like a thrust burst right before he died, and then you see the infected person drop down.
I was starting to get worried about ordnance drops until I saw your drop during the team slayer. Only 4 bullets in the snipe. I thought they were going to help way more than that.

Do we know for sure that effects ordinance drops too?
