i know this has been talked about alot… but does anyone else have severe problems finding games during the last week ? when you first find a game its also laggy as hell, stuttering movement, slow aim and other lag problems …

Some one who was able to ping the server in the UK said that the ping was around 170. I’m finding halo rather annoying cause when it’s got any lag the advanced movement is less useful, I can’t always see my self get shot, projectiles are useless.
For titanfall 2 right now the EU servers are at 28 for the lowest and 49 for the highest.
It sometimes does that in Multiplayer and Forge mode, right?
Yep OP, i’m having lot of troubles finding games in pretty much every playlist i try before 2 PM, after that hour i keep struggling principally in ranked game modes and some social ones.
When forced to switch to expanded search lag is unbearable, all seems having 0.5secs of delay and compete at high ranks becomes basically impossible.
TF2 instead is consistent: even on less populated hours games are found pretty quickly and data center selection guarantee the lowest latency i’ve ever seen in a video game (i never lagged once until now if not for problems on my end).
I really wish someday 343 can introduce a system like this in halo, until now i think they cannot do so because the ranking system they built for the game which i think would intefere with every type of connection filter you can impement (search options are an example: without expanded finding games is really complicated…).
I really hope they will figure out how to implement a ranking system but subordinate to low latency and first search time first, not the opposite.
I can’t stay connected at all right now I’ve been booted back to the menus with out as much of a message to say I’ve been disconnected.
I thought it would of sorted it’s self out by today. Any one else from the UK and/or EU not able to stay connected.
The lag seems minimal cause grenade throws look fine and I’m landing my shots ok.
i also noticed that my reticle is being pulled like crazy when some one walks across it. I’m turning as much as 45 degrees unwilling.
EDIT it seems that I can’t connect to warzone at all I haven’t checked btb yet

Who pinged the UK server? I find it hard to believe it’s 170, that’s extremely high for UK and more like West Coast US.
I haven’t seen anything wrong with my gameplay this week, I have extremely good wifi however, so that might be just cos of stuff on my end, I’d check your wifi if I where you.

I get connected to US players a lot on focused and balanced. I’m more likely to see UK and EU if I’m on expanded.

This is not down to peoples wifi. I’m in the U.K and I don’t have the fastest broadband, but in games like Titanfall, BF and Titanfall 2 I have no issues. When I was playing Halo 5 I would try to throw a grenade and over two seconds later you see it go. I agree, some may experience issues with wifi, but this has been an issue for many in the EU from the launch. Many of us gave up because of it.

Playing against US players doesn’t mean that you’re on a US server. They may have their preferences set to expanded, and get put on a UK server.
The servers are trash, they always have been, and I doubt it’ll ever change. There’s a 300 page EU server thread here, we pleaded for months to get server selection and got completely ignored.
