This is like my 3rd post about having proper EU dedicated servers so I don’t have to play against US players at 12pm+ (6am their time). I get back from college at 5pm and every server is from the US. Like first of all, isn’t there jobs or an education you lot need to get to at 6am? Second of all, GIVE US SERVERS THAT MAKE ME WANT TO ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME. Stop focusing on making new maps which everyone hate and focus on fixing problems which have been around for months. The leadership inside this company must have not a clue on making a game if all they think is, “hmm, instead of fixing current issues, lets design a map where you can easily fall of the map!” Like come on. Fix your -Yoink!- game.

Agreed. I hate playing games where i am basically used as target practice by having to play on us servers at times when it should be peak eu. It is nightmarish trying to rank up when shots dont reguster and their missed shots do. I also hate being on a us server, being kicked becausr not long afterwards and having 30 csr removed with a ban to boot.
All for being so inconsiderate of being european playing at peak eu server time and being put on a us server instead. How utterly terrible of us! No wonder US players dominate online, cos the advantage they have online are astroomical. Ard EU players required to see the future like Jedi? Makes you think the eu players who beat american champs on their servers really are a class apart.

I thought the servers are set to find the best match then look for the US servers. I’m from the UK, play at off-peak times, and have nearly no problems with lag at all.
I hear that 343 won’t look at a thread unless it has at least three other threads immediately around it with the same subject matter.

Maybe i get unlucky? I can tell cos my shots dont connect and i always ask at the end where the players are from. They are always american. Plus i go back in theatre mode and it confirms that my perfectly aimed shots dont touch the other players but their poorly aimed shots hit me.
It happens way too often (at least 2 out of 3 games, probably more) and past onyx 1800 i just cant copensate for the momentary lag, shots not registering and time delay any more in ffa. I cant tell you how frustrating it is. Especially when the server boots you for connection when you are lucky enough to be winning in spite of all your problems, costing you several games worth of csr (30 csr is the fixed penalty). Thats why i never want to play on us servers ever again. I am just cannon fodder.
Any idea when these new matchmaking options will become available? I am all in favour of a little longer wait in the lobby if it gives us a fighting chance rather than relying on psychic insight and crossed fingers to overcome lag discrepancy
