When are we gonna be able to select servers in this game? Playing on US servers is -Yoink-. Need also a ping/ms indicator so I can see when i have 250++ ping to a server and the spartans im playing against have 30 ping.
343i, fix this asap please.
No point showing pings it would 150 plus in the day time and 250 plus at night … We’d all stop playing if you realized that !
You are absolutely right to demand selectable servers. You can vote for it over at the official Xbox feedback site.
Of course showing pings wold be good (preferably numeric ones too not just colored bars). It s the kind of transparency a game needs unless the developer has something to hide. Give the customer (players) the power to chose to which server to connect and the ping to the server.
I think its a disgrace they took out the option to chose at the last minute. Now 343 suffers from a decreasing population as international players have got fed up with a sub par gaming experience because of massive latency. Something the US players would never put up with had they needed to connect to EU servers all the time instead. I heard a lot of US west coast players complain about latency to the east coast so imagine what its like for others on the other side of the pond…

Does anyone know where to find a ping indicator?
Also, 6 months in and still no selectable region option? Man this is ridiculous!

You can use the xbl ping in settings. I believe the xbox ping carries allot of weight in the overall gaming experience.
