I’m also in the UK and since the server tweaking at the start of the month matchmaking times have gotten ridiculous and playing past peak time is almost impossible. Try playing past 12-1am.
I never had a single issue prior to the server changes. Even playing with Americans prior to the changes I had no issues with lag or anything
Noon - midnight is great. Any other time and it’s dead. It’s quite unfortunate for me because I’m not usually home till 11 pm most nights so I have about an hour/ 2 hours window to find games. The regional lock needs done away with, I don’t mind playing Americans, I don’t even mind a bit of lag as long as I can find a game.

It happened to me last week but only in BTB. Other playlists search time were (and are) very short.
Now it seems that BTB has been fixed, i can finally find games quickly.

What gets me is i don’t seem to have an issue right now, granted that’s doing warzone assault farming REQ. But i can queue at 1am or later and i find a match outside the EU there is no region lock Where are you people getting this balderdash?? The search parameters search local first before widening those parameters I see it because i know if i don’t find a match immediately i am heading for a US server.

And I’m saying I never had an issue. I still performed well against americans who are “slightly ahead”. The server changes however have made it impossible for me to find any matches outside of peak hours, unless I party with americans on my friends list specifically.

This is why so many people are annoyed, it’s basically region locked. Strange how this isn’t the case for you but is for many people in the UK/EU. People should really try playing outside of peak hours and then perhaps you will understand our pain. Not everyone has the same routine, I tend to play more in the night which is where the problem is far worse. Say wat you want dude, but i’m trying to find a BTB game since half an hour (it’s 4 PM here). It’s not normal to me…
I’m often playing evening/night. Normally it loads immediately, with BTB it took me 2-3 minutes every time.

I’m in EU too, prior having many issues. Since the last update it seems going great.
Well, not now - now the server seems down. Maybe the said “this is enough, you should be happy now with the solved issue so we’re going to crush your hearts?”

You don’t even know that you had lag… that’s pretty sad tbh. Not even being able to notice a 100+ms delay, and then bragging about it. That’s like saying “I never noticed that grass is green”.
Sure, you may have enjoyed your games, nobody is disputing that. But whether you noticed it or not, you were playing at a disadvantage. End of story.

I had absolutely no lag whatsoever. Obviously it must have been present but I’ve always performed well, even with an apparent handicap. I don’t know how drastic the delay would be affected when individuals connections come into it but I have super fast internet so I don’t know if the delay would be ever so slightly less or not for me. Having played games online for a very, very long time I notice very little to no delay at all for the majority of the time. Obviously some delay is expected, even if it is absolutely negligible, to some degree in almost every multiplayer game
Anyway the main issue here is that a lot of EU/UK players are finding it difficult to even find matches. Others have said it searches worldwide after searching locally and finding no matches, which isn’t the case for many of us. Surely if this was the case, there would be no issue. Everyone is happy. I’d rather get in a game and be at a “disadvantage” than not find a game at all.
I’m in the Netherlands and I find games within a minute usually (spikes here and there during day time).
The only real issue I have with the servers is that US players usually have a ping advantage.

Obviously it must have been present if you’re implying it was always there, was what I was going for. I still played very well regardless and as I said, the main issue is not finding matches
