Etilka (Jorge's gun) in Long Night of Solace

So, I was thinking about Halo stuff then I started to think how did Jorge got Etilka with him when he boards the Ardent Prayer?
Allow me to explain.
When you start the mission, Jorge starts at your side with Etilka, nothing wrong. When you reach the Sabre, his gun magically dissapears and he enters the Sabre without it. Later, when you dock at Anchor 9, he jumps without any sign of the Etilka. When the Pelican enters the Ardent Prayer, he’s comes out of it WITH his gun. How did he even got it in the first place?

Well, I never noticed this before, and you do bring up a good point. Maybe there was a storage compartment on the Sabre and the cutscene shows after he stores it? Or maybe Etilka is already on the Pelican. As for boarding the Ardent Prayer, I have no clue…

If there was, I’ more than sure they would show it because as soon as you arrive at the Sabre you’re already getting in and Jorge is right behind you. Which Pelican? The one with the bomb? I don’t believe so as the Pelican would then need to go to space which would take a while then they would need to install the bomb which would take another while. It’s a good mistery.

Yep. A mystery. I was referring to the Pelican with the bomb though. Was it a Pelican from the Anchor 9 that they rigged with the bomb? if so, I never picked that up.

Yes, it is.

Perhaps they used space magic.

That’s what it is space magic. The space time continuum welcome to the 4th dimension friends

Mini Slipspace portals???

I have never ceased to wonder where the hell his gun went. I mean…could it really fit inside the Sabre? Jorge was already big as it was, being a II and all, so unless he squished up tight with Etilka on his lap?? That’s the only thing I can think of. And don’t forget that the screen goes black before the Sabres fly off with the Pelican and the Savannah, so maybe he floats through space, grabs Etilka, and boards the Pelican? Either that or Six moves the Pelican closer and he grabs Etilka.

You mean grabbing the Etilka as it is drifting through space? I don’t believe it since Jorge was already with it even before he reached the Sabre.

Nah, I mean grabbing Etilka from INSIDE the Sabre. Open cockpit, Six hangs on, and Jorge grabs the gun before going to the Pelican since he never had it when he was attaching the slipspace drive

No just regular magic, the kind that runs on AA batteries.

Ah. I see. Like the Caboose/Loco giant bomb that somehow works?

It makes more than sense, it makes AAA batteries look bad.

Jorge’s gun is not unique. It’s just a regular machine gun turret without the face shield. I’m guessing there was another one on the Pelican.

> Jorge’s gun is not unique. It’s just a regular machine gun turret without the face shield. I’m guessing there was another one on the Pelican.

While that sounds like it would make a lot of sense Jorge’s gun is unique, he modified it to have a heat cover, which is why it doesn’t overheat, and a few other changes other than removing the shield plate. But, if it was just a regular machine gun turret then why wouldn’t it overheat during the mission on the Ardent Prayer, and why would it still be painted?

Jorge just has regular machine gun turret. Not to mention he’s strong as Hell, he could just tear the turret off of the Pelican if he wanted to…which is my guess of how he’s got it after the Sabre fight.

Etilka is not a regular machine gun. It’s custommized as Jorge wanted. It has some yellow colored parts whereas other machine guns don’t. Besides, if it was a normal Chaingun, then I don’t see 343 adding it in Halo 5 as a Mythic Chaingun.
