Eternal Flame and BUNGIE Nameplate Missing

In 2011 I got the BUNGIE nameplate and the eternal flame. I haven’t played Reach very much since late 2012. I have the hard copy but recently my Xbox 360 stopped being able to read discs. Anyway, it was free at the end of September so I decided to download it. Once I started up the game I noticed that my BUNGIE nameplate was missing. Instead it had a DMR which is the nameplate I had before I got the BUNGIE one. I went into the Armor Effects and noticed that the eternal flame was also gone.
I have since contacted multiple Microsoft service reps. None of them knew how to help me nor could they find contact info for 343 Industries. Recently I tweeted Xbox support. They asked me to look in my download history. I looked back at my download history all the way back from June and July 2011 and it wasn’t there. They suggested just to try and contact you guys here.
Please help, 343i

I know this is a silly question, but are you still using the same gamertag?

I’ve tried looking for your gamertag on halo.bungie.net which has a list of all Halo stats prior to March 2012 and your name isn’t showing up.

Either way, you won’t be able to change back to the Bungie nameplate, which actually triggers the Eternal armour effect to show up. Halo Waypoint chose not to support that feature when they took over.

My gamertag is different, yes.

I changed my gamertag sometime in late 2012 I think.

Could you tell me what your old gamertag was?

I’m not sure. I’ll try and find it.

I can’t find it right now. I’ll see if any of my friends remember what it was. Can you tell me exactly why you need to know my old GT? I might be able to help you. Thanks for the effort so far

You don’t remember your old GT? Or did you start a new account?

I just don’t remember my old gamertag. I never made a new profile.

It would be useful to see what your final nameplate on Bungie.net was before 343 took over. Although I don’t think you’ll be able to get the nameplate and armour effect back, I was interested if you had the nameplate before the switch.

Actually, unless there’s something I’m missing, it doesn’t actually show nameplates on bungie.net
For example,
Bungie.net

Oh, that’s odd

It used to show nameplates there

wow that really sucks because you can’t get the eternal flame anymore.Microsoft should be better with support as well
