Alright I was wondering if there is some way to transfer my Blue eternal flame from my old gamertag to my new one since I made a new one and I no longer use the old one.

SOrry but the blue flames are specificaly locked to the account they were given to.
If somebody gave there microsoft account info to you ( I don’t know why they would do that) and they had the eternal armor effect, would the armor effect transfer to your profile.
The enternal Armour effect is not transferable in any way. To get it on your gamertag the only way would be to buy an account that currently owns it. Delete your exsiting account. Then your existing accounts gamertag goes back on the public domain ( i think thats about 3 months after you delete it)Once it is available again you can pay 800 credits to change the bought gamertag that owned the Eternal Flame effect to your orignal gamertag if it hasnt been taken by someone already. (I know it sounds extreme but it is the only way i think this would be achievable)
The enternal flame effect is different to the Legendary Effect ( Orange flaming helmet) The Legandary one requires you to input a redemption code that you got with the Legendary edition and that becomes availble to any profile on the Xbox it was orignally downloaded on.
I have both of these effects and i checked them last night and on my 2 other accounts i cannot select Enternal Flame Effect but can Select Legndary effect for all accounts.

Well thanks everyone I wasn’t sure if I could somehow get it back on this one so I figured Id ask. And I did not just change my name because I ended up buying gold again on this account instead of my original. And I’m guessing the seventh column plate/title on halo 3 will not appear on this account? or is there a way to get it on here? Also for unlocking recon, 343 does that in random waves if Im correct?

You are indeed correct about the nameplates. 343 have no support for Halo 3/Reach nameplates, so they’re stuck at the default setting. Also there has been several people on here that are still waiting to receive their Recon armour, so it is unsure when 343 will be handing out the recon again. But I would keep checking just in case as they don’t announce when they unlock it.

Nope. The nameplates were linked to and changeable only on bungie.net. This feature wasn’t transferred to Halo Waypoint when the franchise changed hands, nor was it intended to. Same goes for the Eternal flame effect. It was only unlockable via bungie.net and the Bungie iOS app.
It was stated many times by both Bungie and 343 before and after the franchise changed hands that both of these feature would not be available to the public when 343 took over. If you don’t have them now, you’re not getting them.

- Check dates before posting, it’s against forum rules to bump old posts.
- You can’t get it anymore, ever.

- No they could not.
- Microsoft has nothing to do with that, much less care about what 343 does with a useless AE.
- Nameplates have been discontinued, as in not coming back, gone for good, nevermore etc etc.
