Et to Brute in Grifball needs to go!!

Anybody who plays Grifball knows that it gets chaotic and betrayals happen.
Can we seriously not be kicked to the main menu. I’ve come close to winning with my team twice today, to be kicked near the end, and being asked quite a few times if I want kick someone from the game. Enough is enough!!

This has been going on for years. It falls on deaf ears. You just need to play with 4s unfortunatley

be careful of where you swing then, not that hard

That’s Grifball, buddy. It would be interesting to see how it plays without friendly fire, though.

Absolutely chaotic! I could see it now, spawn killing without friendly fire.

Grifball is not going to change. Sad but true

Be careful yes. But almost every game i have to let the other team score due to not wanting to betray my teammates near our goal. We all know that always happens. Sure you can say use a sword… But let me know how effective that is on a ground pound. Usually 2 people will swing at the ball carrier coming in, it works great. I just straight up avoid it now in fear of getting kicked and now have wasted 10minutes.

Pretty much on the same boat with this, don’t spam your hammer swings

But in my own defence, most grifball betrays are accidental, most are just people being a troll

First off, get yourself a microphone. Even more crazy, use the one that came with your Xbox. That way you can actually apologize for accidents and spare yourself getting booted once in a while. Believe it or not, not every player is a twerpy jerk who kicks you the instant that the boot screen comes up. In between apologies, you might even be able to talk to teammates about, you know, strategy and stuff.

Second, learn how to use your sword when defending the goal, so that you’re not freeswinging with the hammer when surrounded by teammates. Nothing makes me want to boot someone more than getting hammered by a teammate just as I’m about to sword the ball carrier (who then scores).

Third, learn how to use your hammer (correctly). Pay attention to your surroundings and your radar when you’re swinging, so you can be more careful around teammates. And don’t try to justify your betrayals with “but I was just trying to kill the ball carrier”. Your teammates were trying to kill the ball carrier too, until you hammered them.

At the very least, learn to count your betrayals, so that you know when you’re getting close to the limit (in Grifball, teammates get a boot screen when you hit 5 or more), and that way you can at least be more cautious once that number starts to get up there. Then, if you do get booted, you’ll have had nobody but yourself to blame.

Yeah this will never change man, sadly enough

Especially now that pro is standard even when grifball is featured, no shields no minimap, betrayals happen. A lot. Gravity hammers are the only effective thing, and those are area of effect.
