At the end of the demo, the hologram of Escharum turns into the real thing standing right before our eyes. Assuming that this will even be in the final game, is this a transition to where he’s transmitting from? If so, I wonder how they will work the “camera” to return to Chief while staying in that single shot style.

Yes that is clearly a transition and imo I would say that escharums whole thing was made for the trailer
It seemed to interrupt the open world style game play rather quickly and probably will look differently in final game.
But that just my opinion which while awesome is also subject to the possibility that it is wrong… I guess

Agreed. I was under the impression his entire monologue (both hologram and final shot) were both added solely for the purposes of this demo to give us more color/hints as to what to expect with the campaign.

Transition back to a hologram and zoom back out to Chief.
