I really, really, really dislike this map.
If you come up against a spartan company they just rush your armoury, cap it and pin you down.
There is no balance to this map once that happens, as soon as they get that armoury you might as well give up.
Because they cap their own, and then garage and just farm kills.
I really dislike this map as that happens far too often, and its really the only one that seems to have this problem.
Another thought of mine is Spartan companies should be put against other Spartan companies. I find it unfair us casual’s get punished because we’re put up against a relentless, communicating team.
I don’t know, I just feel more balancing is needed. Spartan Companies should be put up against others, and Escape the A.R.C should just be removed
This map honestly is not bad. Holding the opposing team’s armory is extremely difficult since there’s at least 4 different ways to attack it.
And the thing about Spartan companies: you can’t limit them to only playing other companies, what are the chances of 2 full fire teams being online at once? Sometimes you’ll just find a team that is simply better than you overall. Just have to accept that, learn, and move on.
Sit in the back of the core or go to their core. It works for me. You should try it sometime.
I pay for a game to enjoy it, I don’t play to have our base rushed the moment we step outside. It is a recurring issue with this map, for me personally. I seem to get it a lot. If you experience it at least twice every time you go on, you’ll eventually get put off the game no?
As for staying at the back of the core, I did at this point.
They didn’t bother destroying ours, they just farmed kills so I wasn’t going to add to that.
But what fun is just sitting there for ten minutes?
That really only happens once to me been playing from the start. Other than that one time never in countered it again. But it was really annoying even though it was just once
I frequently see people rush both armories. Its a very well known tactic in fireteams to the point where I always grab a Boltshot to scatter them.
But at any time a team gets Triple Cap, the game may as well be over. There’s only one way out and that’s into the fire, and on the off chance that you do get a Base back, you’re already too far behind to get any points, because Garage has sole access to all Legendary Bosses.
Still not as bad as March on Stormbreak, though.

You’re literally saying that players that have good teamwork and strategy should dumb it down.
As for the farming, I’ve still yet to experience it. Getting a triple cap and not destroying the core is not considered farming (defending team CAN still push the attacking team back you know). Taking over the home base and not proceeding to killing the core is farming, and may or may not be unsportsmanlike (not here to argue that).
However, it is a legit strategy to go to the opposing armory and attempt to cap. You either get the cap and pin the enemy team at home base, or you fight for the armory long enough for your team to cap garage. Legitimate strategy.

Yes… they can still push back against a team that gets rewarded for doing well. When they have ONI equipment, sniper rifles, BR’s… DMR’s… and we have Assault rifles and pistols I really don’t see how we can possibly push them back.
I’m saying Spartan Companies need to be paired with other premade teams.
Other games do it, in fact nearly every other game does it. I don’t see how it is fair that casuals get absolutely slaughtered by a communicating team.
Personally I dislike the map.

It is so frustrating, but I’m curious to see what you mean by the final comment?
The reason halo doesn’t do the team vs team and randoms vs randoms in warzone is because the population won’t really support it. Matchmaking times would be way longer and you would repeat the same players quite often. Yeah it sucks facing a well organized team who can pin you down but this has always happened in Halo and always will. You must have bad luck with matchmaking because stuff like that rarely happens to me.

Yeah man it happens a lot to me, nearly every time now
Worst part is a lot of the players can be quite toxic
I’ve been playing since the very first game, and I have to say this is my least favourite multiplayer.
Noctus has got to be the worst, especially playing solo. Campers and snipers EVERYWHERE, and to cap it off, the monument usually determines the victor.
ESCAPE From ARC is the worst when it comes to farming. The armories are just so close together that your entire team can rush the enemy before they really know whats going on. You can’t really do that in Raid or Storm Break. You can but, it’s a lot harder because of the distance you have to travel and the fact that there isn’t an AI that spawns right off the start to keep players away from their first base.
An easy way to stop getting farmed is right after that game go into another playlist like Arena or WZ Assault. If you start searching right after that loss you have a good chance of being put right back against them. I’ve played the same farming team three times in a row before I got the hint.
Honestly all maps suffer from this sort of thing, I had the same happen to me at Darkstar. I was praying one of the enemy would destroy the core, but no, they were core farming.
I hope they put in some sort of mercy rule. Better yet, not put full fireteams against a group of randoms.
I don’t mind any of the wz maps. Every game on the same map is different for me. That is why I enjoy the game so much. I do wish there where more maps.
I like ARC. Granted it is difficult to break out of a triple cap, but if you can’t break out after a few good attempts, just grab a DMR and watch the home base entrance. Easy kills. Reverse farming. It’s a decent vehicle map because you can spawn at home base and ease into the action.
I’m disliking Noctus at the minute for the reason that very rarely will some assist with the taking of a garage and not rush to the monument.
This is my favorite map. Its well balanced
If they cap your armory that’s really on the incompetence of your team.
Contrary to popular belief, I like this map a lot. Sometimes its fun to catch the other team off guard, sprint in the back, cap a few marines, and take a base by yourself. Add a teammate and it increases your chances.
