So I’ve talked to some other Spartans on my friends list about it and they have told me that any time Escape from ARC comes up on Warzone now that they back out and won’t play it due to the increased number of games of spawn farming. Played the level twice last night and both times was the same thing, enemy team blows bast the elite dropping down, past the first armory and goes for the one closest to the enemy’s base to capture it. Used to be the teams would run straight for the garage, but now they have figured out that with the layout of the map it’s super easy to get to the “farthest” armory and cap it, thus creating a bottleneck that it’s near impossible to come back from. Spawn at the base closest to the enemy’s core and hold that and the tunnel and then just sit back and let them come to you since there’s limited cover and only 2 ways to try and go through. It’d be one thing to fly through the game like that as it’s a smart strategy but it’s the fact that in one game last night they didn’t cap the garage for the first 7-8 minutes. They would wait until the opposing team would try to gain a foothold and clear them out while they tried to take it then leave it to not be captured since they knew the only spawn point was still at the base. Once they decided to cap it, they just spawned vehicles and sat them in the tunnel to make a blockade so no one could get through and never assaulted the core until time got there. 119-1000 score is pretty sad, and yes the losing team was bad here for not being better players and what not but the farming kills is still there and unsporting. Team on team would be one thing but entering warzone by yourself and having no one to work with would really suck. They other maps it isn’t so much of a problem, but ARC is just too easy now.
When u play against a team of 12 ‘organized’ farmers it will suck on any map. I didn’t notice that it’s more frequent on arc tbh, I mean they can’t decide or vote which map will be played.

You don’t/wont see it on Noctus or Stormbreak. Apex 7 is harder to do it on as well, but ARC the armory for each team is a grenade throw away which makes for some good firefights during game play but for a starting point they are way closer than any of the other maps. I guess it will just come down to that’s the way it is now and whatever team does that strategy first will win the game. Might as well take the AI bosses away.
ARC suffers by having the three objectives cramped so closely together and within line of sight of each other with tons of wasted real-estate between the core and first point on each side, making it prone to stalemates and “get garage, win game”. It’s just not a particularly good map.
Funny thing is, the run distance is the same on both sides. If you can’t make it to the roof of your own base and shoot them as they rush across the open shooting gallery field, then IDK what to tell you. It’s pretty easy to anticipate a rush.

after 700 wz matches I can safely say that I’ve exprienced it numerous times on any wz map.

that’s true. I usually always check if someone rushes us or not.
Yea, I always rush the armory right away for this exact reason. Don’t understand why 6 people need to stay and kill the Elite.
